- When making your international flight arrangements, please plan to arrive at Sydney Airport (SYD) on October 5th, 2027. This is day 1 of the trip.
- Since flights from the USA to Sydney, Australia, cross the International Date Line, you will "lose" a calendar day on both departure and gain it back upon return. Thus, you will need to depart the USA on October 3rd, 2027.
- Plan to depart from Cairns Airport (CNS) on October 17th, 2027.

Trip Payments
- A non-refundable credit card convenience fee of 3.5% + $0.30 is included in your online payments. This fee is collected by the card processor, not TryShy Travel.
- A smaller, non-refundable 1.5% convenience fee is available for ACH (bank transfer) payments. This fee is collected by the processor, not TryShy Travel.

TryShy Travel's Refund & Flexible Credit/ Cancellation Policy & Terms
This trip includes a 7-day cancellation window after your deposit is paid. If you choose to cancel within that period, your deposit will be refunded, less a $25 cancellation fee and any bank processing fees. After the 7-day window, all deposits become 100% non-refundable but are converted to a future travel credit in the event of a cancellation 180 days+ before the trip start date. Please allow up to 2 weeks (14 days) for any applicable refunds to process. Travel protection is strongly recommended to protect your investment.
