Traveling with Minors

Children under the age of 18 must travel with a parent, legal guardian, or an authorized adult who meets Carnival Cruise Line's travel requirements.

If a child is traveling with a grandparent or another adult who is not their parent or legal guardian, Carnival Cruise Line may require a signed and notarized Letter of Consent from the child's parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Travelers are responsible for obtaining all required documentation prior to departure.

All minors must have the required government-issued travel documents for the cruise itinerary. It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to ensure all documentation is accurate and valid before travel.

Parents, grandparents, and guardians are responsible for the supervision and behavior of their children throughout the trip, including while onboard the ship, during shore excursions, and while participating in group activities.

Please Note: This is a family group cruise. Grandparents are encouraged to remain with their grandchildren during all GEM Travel group activities unless the child is participating in a Carnival Cruise Line youth program. GEM Travel, LLC does not provide childcare or supervision for minors at any time during the trip.

We encourage families to review Carnival Cruise Line's youth programs prior to sailing. Age restrictions, hours of operation, and program availability are determined by Carnival Cruise Line and are subject to change without notice.

For everyone's safety and enjoyment, all travelers are expected to follow Carnival Cruise Line's policies and the instructions of the ship's crew at all times.

Cruise Pricing

All prices are per person and include your cruise accommodations, onboard meals in the main dining venues and buffet, entertainment, and the amenities outlined in the trip details.

Unless otherwise noted, prices do not include gratuities, travel protection, airfare, pre- or post-cruise hotel stays, specialty dining, alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, shore excursions, personal purchases, spa services, casino charges, or other optional onboard expenses.

Important: Pricing is based on current Carnival Cruise Line rates and availability. Prices, taxes, fees, promotions, and port charges are subject to change until your deposit has been received and your booking is confirmed.

Deposits & Payments

A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.

Cabins are not confirmed until the required deposit has been received.

If a payment plan is available, payment details will be provided at the time of booking.

All deposits are non-refundable. Make convenient monthly payments and join us for an unforgettable cruise vacation.

Late Payments

Payments not received by the scheduled due date will incur a $45 late payment fee.

Failure to remain current on your payment schedule may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of all payments made.

Declined or Returned Payments

Any returned, declined, or insufficient funds transaction will incur a $45 returned payment fee.

Your reservation may be placed on hold until payment and all applicable fees have been received.

Final Payment Policy

Final payment is due by the date provided at the time of booking.

All balances must be paid in full by the final payment date. Failure to do so may result in automatic cancellation of your reservation.

GEM Travel, LLC is not responsible for any loss of reservation, promotional pricing, or cabin availability resulting from missed final payment deadlines.

Once final payment has been made, any changes are subject to Carnival Cruise Line approval and may be subject to additional fees or fare increases.

Cancellation Policy

All deposits are non-refundable.

After your reservation is confirmed, Carnival Cruise Line cancellation penalties will apply as follows:

No refunds will be issued for missed embarkation, no-shows, unused portions of the cruise, or early departure from the cruise.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to francine@mygemtravel.com. If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, please call 443-914-3434 to confirm your request was received.

Because cancellation penalties increase as the sailing date approaches, GEM Travel, LLC strongly recommends purchasing travel protection to help protect your vacation investment against covered unforeseen circumstances.

Reservation Transfers

If permitted by Carnival Cruise Line, your reservation may be transferred to another traveler.

Transfer requests must be submitted in writing and approved by GEM Travel, LLC before Carnival's transfer deadline.

Any name change or transfer fees assessed by Carnival Cruise Line will be the responsibility of the traveler.

Cruise Travel Policies

Travelers are responsible for arriving at the embarkation port with sufficient time to complete check-in and boarding requirements.

Passengers who miss the ship's departure will not receive a refund.

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the required travel documents, including a valid passport or other government-issued identification required by Carnival Cruise Line and the destination countries visited.

GEM Travel, LLC is not responsible for itinerary changes, weather delays, mechanical issues, port substitutions, schedule changes, or other circumstances beyond our control.

All travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner throughout the trip. GEM Travel, LLC and Carnival Cruise Line reserve the right to deny boarding or remove any traveler whose behavior jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of others.

GEM Travel, LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings.
