Payment Policy:

Thank you for choosing The Alumni Group for your upcoming group travel! We want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our payment and cancellation policy to make your travel experience as smooth as possible. Please review the following terms and conditions:

 

  • Deposits: All deposits made to The Alumni Group are non-refundable and non-transferable. This deposit secures your reservation and is a commitment to join the adventure.
  • Payment Options: You have two payment options:
    • Automatic Draft: You can set up automatic draft payments for your convenience.
    • Individual Payment Schedule: You may choose to make individual payments on specified dates.
  • Insufficient Funds: If any payments are returned by your financial institution due to insufficient funds, you will have a 7-day grace period to settle the payment. Additionally, you will incur an insufficient fund fee of $100, as well as any additional fees charged by your institution. It's important to ensure that your account has sufficient funds to cover payments.
  • Card Decline: If your credit card declines for ANY REASON and you pass the 7-day grace period to update or change your card, a $50 reinstatement fee will be added to your next payment. NO EXCEPTIONS!
 

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable..
  2. Cancellation Fee:
    1. If you cancel 180 days or more before the trip, your deposit plus a $250 cancellation fee per person will be charged.
    2. Cancellations within 180 days of the trip will result in the forfeiture of all payments made.
  3. Nonpayment:
    1. Missing two consecutive payments will result in being dropped from the trip for nonpayment.
    2. If you are dropped for nonpayment, no refunds will be issued.
  4. Late Fee: Late payments after 7 days on your monthly payments will result in a late fee of $50, which will be added to your next payment . To avoid late fees, please ensure your payments are made on or before the due dates.
  5. Cancellation Notice: All cancellations must be made in writing.

Looking for a roommate? Our Roommate Matching Program is here to help! We love connecting good people, and our program makes finding the perfect match super easy.

To get started, just follow these steps:

  1. Select “Book Now” on any of our trips.
  2. Choose “Double Occupancy” on your reservation form.
  3. Make your payment.
  4. On the registration form, click "Yes" that you need help finding a roommate.
  5. Hit “SUBMIT”—and that’s it!

Once we receive 75% of your reservation rate, our Admin Team will reach out with your match's name and contact info (via email or Facebook DM). We’ll also provide your details to them.

Travel Insurance:

  • Travel Insurance Recommendation: We highly recommend purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance policy within 3 days after booking. Look for one that includes trip cancellation coverage, especially the "Cancel for Any Reason" option, to cover your non-refundable trip expenses. Trip cancellation insurance is the only means of receiving reimbursement for flights and other non-refundable expenses should you need to cancel your trip for any reason.

 
Travel Notes:
  • Traveling abroad require a passport valid for six months beyond travel dates. For this tour, your passport should not expire before January 11, 2026.
  • All prices are based on the rates of exchange in effect at the time of price quotation. In the event that the US dollar devalues, we reserve the right to increase prices accordingly. Your final invoice will reflect increases resulting from currency devaluation.
  • We offer roommate matching for this tour. When making your reservations please select “double occupancy”, request roommate match. Roommates will not be matched until after 75% of your reservation total has been made.
  • Please note the hotel check-in date is July 11, 2026. 
  • Full Itinerary will be emailed to you 30 Days in advance to plan your free time while in Bali.
  • Valid Passport required for entry with at least 6 MONTHS validity remaining.
  • VISAs - Bali offers Visa's on Arrival - You can purchase the Visa already online (~$33.00) and avoid queuing at VoA counters at the airport which will save you time and is much more convenient.
    • ​You can apply for e-VOA 14 days before your travel. However, you are advised to create an e-VOA request at least 48 hours before your departure.
    • If you do not purchase the e-VoA before you arrive in Indonesia, you can still purchase the VoA at the VoA counter in the airport arrival hall. ​
    • Upon arrival you buy the visa; The price is IDR 500,000 (by Mastercard, Visa or cash in IDR).
