Retreat to The Sea – Participant Agreement

Hilton Head, SC | October 10–13, 2025

Thank you for choosing to join us for Retreat to The Sea. This retreat is designed to be a safe, welcoming space where participants are encouraged to rest, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and others. Please review the agreement below, which outlines our refund and cancellation policies, expectations, and other important details. Your registration confirms your agreement to these terms.


1. Payment & Refund Policy

  • Cancellations must be made in writing by emailing info@purebalanceathens.com and hello@ninthhousetravel.com

  • Cancellations made after September 1, 2025, will not be eligible for a refund. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, and we will do our best to accommodate such situations on a case-by-case basis. This may include transferring your booking to another individual or applying your credit to a future retreat or program, subject to availability.

  • If the retreat is canceled by the hosts due to unforeseen circumstances, all payments will be fully refunded.

2. Participant Responsibility & Code of Conduct

This retreat is a space for reflection, self-care, and community. We ask that all participants:

  • Treat one another with kindness, compassion, and respect.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal stories shared during group time.
  • Refrain from any behavior that is disruptive, discriminatory, or unsafe.

 

We reserve the right to remove any participant from the retreat without refund if they fail to honor the spirit of this agreement.


3. Assumption of Risk & Waiver of Liability

By attending this retreat, you acknowledge that:

  • You are participating voluntarily and are responsible for your own health and well-being.
  • You release the retreat hosts, facilitators, and venue from any liability for injury, illness, lost belongings, or any other unforeseen event that may occur before, during, or after the retreat.
  • You may be asked to sign additional waivers for optional third-party activities or excursions (such as kayaking, bike rentals, etc.). Participation in such activities is voluntary, and you agree to complete any required documentation prior to participation.

4. Health & Safety

  • Please inform us in advance of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions we should be aware of.
  • You agree to refrain from attending if you are feeling unwell or experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness.
  • In the case of health-related concerns during the retreat, you are responsible for any associated costs or care decisions.

5. Agreement

By completing your registration and submitting payment, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. You understand and accept the refund and cancellation policy, and you agree to participate with care, presence, and respect for yourself and others.
