Travel to Europe requires a passport valid for six months beyond your travel dates. Please review your passport immediately to ensure it does not expire before February 2024. There will be NO Refund for expired or other passport issues.
When making reservations, you may pay in full or select a payment plan. If you select a payment plan, you will be added to our automatic monthly payment plan option. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit due upon booking.
All payments made to TravelEncounters by JEM-Si are non-refundable and non-transferable because of contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other travel vendors.
Provided receipt of full payment & travel documents, we will send travel instructions and itinerary via email at least 30 days prior to travel.
Roommate matching is available for this trip. If you want to book double occupancy and would like to be matched with a roommate, please select one of the 2 roommate matching packages. Otherwise, you will be charged for single occupancy. Please note that we will not pair you with a roommate until the trip is paid in full.
The group flight will depart from Atlanta on July 1, 2023 and arrive in Paris on July 2. Check-in at hotel is July 2 @ 3pm. If you are purchasing your own flight, please make note of the dates and plan your flight and airport transfer accordingly. We recommend arriving to Paris no later than 3pm on July 2, as the Meet & Greet is scheduled for early evening.
Emergencies happen, and having to cancel a trip is frustrating. That's why we recommend Travel Insurance. Travel Insurance is the most popular and effective way of protecting the money you’ve spent on travel – airfares, cruise bookings, hotel reservations, tours, theater and theme-park tickets, rental cars, and many other prepaid travel expenses. Travel insurance also can include emergency health and medical evacuation coverage, as well as coverage for lost luggage.
The currency used in most of Europe is the EURO. Payment options in Europe can vary greatly depending on which country you visit. In general, credit cards and travel cards are widely accepted, however having cash on hand may also be required. Your banking institution or airport can assist with currency exchange.
Please keep in mind that European hotel standards may differ from US standards (i.e., elevator size, smaller bed size & spacing, etc.)
It is the guest's responsibility to notify TravelEncounters by JEM-Si of any email, address or phone number changes. Please provide updated info to firstname.lastname@example.org.
