United States Permanent Residents must have a United States Permanent Resident Card. Additionally, a passport from your home country is strongly recommended. Click here for additional information.
Proper travel documentation is required at embarkation and is the responsibility of the guest. Please verify that you have the proper travel documentation BEFORE making your reservation. Reservations should be made in your full name as they appear on your travel documents.
No refunds will be given to individuals who fail to bring proper documentation.
Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect your investment. In case you have to cancel, a full refund may not be available without travel insurance. We recommend that you research and choose a policy carefully that meets your specific needs.
If you have any existing medical concerns, it is highly recommended that you purchase your travel insurance when booking your trip.
Consider selecting a plan that provides coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Medical Expenses, Emergency Medical Evacuation, and more, based on your specific needs.
Many travel insurance plans offer medical coverage for emergency medical expenses incurred while traveling. Also, be aware of the plan’s covered and non-covered reasons for cancellation.
If there is a medical emergency onboard the ship, you will have to pay in advance, depending on the policy you purchase, and seek reimbursement from the insurance carrier.
Listed below are three travel protection/insurance providers for your consideration. Note, if you are flying, consider including the cost of your flight along with the cruise package when purchasing your travel insurance. The Royal Caribbean travel protection will only cover the cost of the cruise fare.
Contact the Customer Service department of the plan you are researching for clarity if you have questions. You should research and choose a travel insurance policy carefully. You can select the plan of your choosing.
