  • Day 1 (October 7) - Arrive in Athens ~ Transfer to hotel and check-in...explore your surroundings on your own.
  • Day 2 (October 8) - Half Day Athens city tour/sightseeing.  Dinner on own ~overnight Athens ~Meals Included: Breakfast
  • Day 3 (October 9) - Pick up for transfer to the port to catch the ferry to Mykonos. Once in Mykonos have a day of leisure to explore on your own and relax
  • Day 4 (October 10) - Half day Delos Tour with lunch in Mykonos
  • Day 5 (October 11) - Morning pick up for transfer to catch the ferry to the island of Santorini. Free time to relax or to explore the city at your own pace.
  • Day 6 (October 12) - Pick up for transfer - Sunset Caldera Cruise with Greek meal and drinks. Santorini stops include; volcano & hot springs. Return after sunset 
  • Day 7 (October 13) - Pick up for transfer back to Athens. Leisure time to relax and enjoy optional activities
  • Day 8 (October 14) - Athens Check-out. Pick up from your hotel to transfer to the International Airport of Athens

Covid Testing

Covid testing is not required to travel to Greece.

Covid testing is no longer required to return back to the US for vaccinated and non-vaccinated Travelers

Group Flight Information:
The group flight will be on Emirates Airline.  Emirates has always been known as one of the world's best carriers and has won tons of awards.  When it comes to comfortable seats for a long-haul flight to Europe, one airline stands out above the rest: Emirates.  The world’s fourth largest airline, Emirates flies to 160 destinations around the world, including Asia, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Africa.
 
  • The flight will depart on October 6th from Newark, NJ (New York City area) on a non-stop flight to Athens, Greece.   
  • The cost of the flight will be $990 with a $100 deposit.  A processing fee will be charged.  Flight Cost includes, fare, taxes, complimentary seat assignments, 2 pieces of luggage, complementary and pay over time (monthly payments).  
  • The group flight is optional but affords you the opportunity to make payments on your airline ticket. 
  • The ticket price will not change however, the taxes can possibly fluctuate up or stay the same so there may be a slight increase if taxes increase that will be due at final payment.  Emirates will let me know before the final payment is due.  
Fees:
Name Correction: Name correction permitted at a charge of $50 per ticket (Name must be the same as on passport)

Name Changes:
  • $75 penalty for name changes up to 10 Business days prior to departure provided there is no change in your itinerary.  If an itinerary change is required then the price  of the ticket will increase 
  • $150 per ticket, within 4 to 9 Business days prior to departure
  • No name change after ticket issuance is permitted 3 business days prior to departure, a new ticket has to be issued
 
How to Book Flight:
To add the flight to your trip please select it during check-out.  You will notice that the deposit and price is $1.00.  This is just to allow you to add the flight to your booking.  Once you process out of booking, I will create a separate invoice for the flight and remove it from the original invoice (land portion).  You will end up with 2 invoices, one for your flight and one for the land.  I will send the new invoice  for the flight and the $99 deposit should be paid within 24 hours.  Final payment is July 28th!  If you book after July 28th then the full payment is due at the time of booking.  
 
Passport & Travel Insurance
Please make sure your Passport is valid  for at least 6 months from the date of completion of your travel.  That would be April 6, 2024
TRAVEL INSURANCE:  STRONGLY SUGGESTED. Travel Insurance to cover issues such as trip cancellation fees, medical and accidental emergencies, trip interruptions, baggage loss and/or damage is highly recommended, and covid quarantine.  By making your deposit or payment for this trip, you acknowledge that you have read this statement and understand that insurance is available and will be offered.

Important Notes :

A single supplement applies if you don't have a roommate.  It will be added to the invoice if you do not select a roommate that has paid their deposit

FAQ's
  • When is the final itinerary issued?
    • A final trip itinerary is issued at least four to six weeks prior to trip departure to trip attendees. That final trip itinerary will include the details of your trip accommodations. Accommodation details are shared within the final trip itinerary. 

  • What hotel are you staying at?

    • DTS only provides hotel information 4 -6 weeks before trip departure for several reasons.  Please refer to  the "what's included" section of the above initial trip itinerary, as Travelers can find the star rating of the accommodations we will be using. Please know and trust that DTS will only provide quality accommodations. 

  • Does DTS arrange roommate matching?

    • DTS will randomly assign any Traveler with no roommate who requests to be matched.  If the Traveler has a preferred roommate, the Traveler should request to be assigned with the requested roommate as soon as the deposit it paid. However, Travelers should note that a no-show for any reason or an inability to be paired with the requested roommate now becomes a single room. 

  • What are the COVID requirements for Greece?
    • Travellers visiting Greece are no longer required to fill out the Passenger Locator Form (PLF).
    • Additionally, for as long as the epidemiological data allow so, all travellers arriving in Greece, regardless of their country of origin, are no longer required to display a valid certificate of vaccination or recovery from COVID-19, or evidence of a negative test result from SARS-CoV-2 infection (PCR or Rapid Antigen test).
 
 
Cancellation policy for Destination Greece '23: 

No refund or reduction in price will be made to any Traveler for airfare, accommodations, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare but not utilized by the Traveler.

In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements due to any reasons–we must be notified in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/date we receive your intentions to cancel in writing. Cancellation fees apply to the land packages and/or services.  Cancellation fee is $100 and the balance will be returned based on the following after the non-refundable deposit of $400 has been retained:

  • 120 - 91 days prior to final payment–Full payment minus non-refundable deposit plus cancellation fee ($500).
  • 90 - 60 days prior to final payment–50% of the Tour minus non-refundable deposit plus cancellation fee ($500).
  • 59 - 21 days prior to final payment–75% of the Tour minus non-refundable deposit plus cancellation fee ($500).
  • 20 days - 7 days prior to final payment - 90% of the Tour minus non-refundable deposit plus cancellation fee ($500).
  • Less than 7 days to final payment or No Show–No Refund...100% of the tour is the penalty
  •  

For any ferry, train or flight tickets involved, the refund will be applicable as per the cancellation policy for that mode of transportation at the time of booking. 

 

The above policy also applies to the guest who cancels due to positive covid test, health issues or any other reason.  All refunds will be processed 45 days after receiving the cancellation request.  To ensure a full return of all monies paid, please purchase Travel Protection.

 

Reinstatement of Reservations: If your travel reservations have been canceled, and you notify us within 14 days that you want to reinstate your reservations, a service reinstatement fee of $100 ($200 for international tours) will be added to your invoice and must be paid in advance in order to apply for reconfirmation of services. Exceptions are at the sole discretion of DTS, LLC

Last-Minute Reservations: All reservations must be made no later than 60 days prior to departure. If requested services cannot be confirmed, payment will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply. Exceptions are at the sole discretion of DTS, LLC

 

Important Points to Note:

* Full payment must be received NLT July 7, 2023

*It is highly advisable to buy travel insurance ensuring that the coverage is adequate to cover even severe conditions including cancellation charges & covid policy as well as quarantine period expenses if you test positive for covid

 

In case of human or computer error, Destinations Travel Solution, LLC reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price of the product or service. 
 
BOOKING EXCEPTIONS
Double occupancy wanting 2 separate invoices (which allows you to pay separately) then follow the below steps:
  1. Each person should book separately
  2. Select 1 Traveler
  3. You will see the higher single occupancy rate appear (don't worry it will be corrected later on the backend)
  4. Proceed to complete information form to check out
  5. You will be charged the deposit for 1 person
  6. Send an email or call to provide roommate information and at that time the two bookings will be merged into a double occupancy booking
  7. The price will reduce and now reflect a double occupancy booking rate showing that the deposit was paid
 
Please know that if there is any error on the invoice in terms of roommates, I will correct it on the backend, just let me know.
