A Journey Through New England & Canada
New England does not demand attention—it invites it. Its beauty unfolds gradually, in quiet harbors where sailboats rock with the tide, in centuries-old streets brushed with autumn light, and in coastlines where land and sea have been in conversation for generations. In the fall, the region reaches its most poetic expression, as forests ignite in deep reds and golds and crisp air carries the promise of change.
A seven-day voyage aboard the Majestic Princess traces the storied Atlantic coast at the height of foliage season, weaving together historic cities, maritime towns, and rugged shorelines shaped by time and tradition. From refined ports to working harbors, each destination offers a distinct sense of place—where history is not curated behind glass but lived in brick, stone, and sea air. The pace is unhurried, encouraging travelers to linger, observe, and absorb.
Ashore, the experience is layered and tactile. Cobblestone streets lead to waterfronts steeped in legacy. Church steeples rise above town squares, fishing boats return with the day’s catch, and coastal winds carry the scent of salt and leaves. This is a region defined by character rather than spectacle, where the details—an iron gate, a harbor bell, a weathered lighthouse—tell stories as compelling as any landmark.
Life aboard the Majestic Princess provides a graceful counterpoint to the days spent exploring. Warm interiors, expansive ocean views, and thoughtfully designed spaces create a sense of calm and continuity as the scenery shifts beyond the horizon. Evenings arrive gently, with soft light over the water and the comfort of knowing tomorrow brings another place shaped by history and season.
This group sailing strikes a rare balance: immersive without being rushed, refined without feeling formal. With the ease of Princess Plus included, the journey becomes effortless, allowing travelers to focus not on logistics, but on the rhythm of the coast and the beauty of the moment.
New England and Canada in autumn leave a quieter impression than Alaska—but no less lasting. It is a journey of atmosphere and memory, where the landscape does not overwhelm, but endures. This voyage offers more than a route along the coast; it offers a passage into a season, a history, and a way of traveling that feels timeless.
