International travel requires your passport to be valid for at least six months past your return date. 
 
Price and Currency Adjustments
All prices provided are based on current exchange rates. Should the US dollar decrease in value, Serenity Travel Experts reserve the right to adjust package prices accordingly. Any necessary adjustments due to currency fluctuation will be clearly indicated on your final invoice.
 
Roommate Matching
We offer a hassle-free roommate matching service! Simply write "Request Roommate" in the roommate name section of your reservation form. Keep in mind that roommate pairing begins after you've paid 80% of your package cost.
 
Land-Only Package Flights
If you choose our LAND ONLY PACKAGE, you'll arrange your own flights and airport transfers. Plan carefully to arrive at Kotoka International Airport (ACC) on February 08, 2026, for hotel check-in—this means most travelers departing from the United States will need flights leaving on February 07, 2026. Your return flight should depart on February 17, 2026.

 TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Making reservations signifies your acceptance of out Terms and Conditions.
  • Reservations can be made online at www.serenitytravelexperts.com, by calling (919) 695-2297, or emailing info@serenitytravelexperts.com.  
  • Reservations must match the name exactly as shown on your government-issued ID; name changes after booking may incur fees and depend on availability.  
  • Deposits are required at booking, non-refundable, and non-transferable.  
  • Final reservations must be made at least 90 days before departure. If confirmed within 90 days, full payment is due within 24 hours.  
  • Monthly payment plans are provided; timely payments are required to avoid cancellation or loss of package benefits.  
 
Payment Terms:
  • Deposits secure your quoted rate and are non-refundable/non-transferable.  
  • Full payment at booking is available if space permits.  
  • Auto-pay is recommended; failure to notify Serenity Travel Experts of missed payments within 15 days can result in automatic cancellation.  
 
Cancellation & Refunds:
  • All payments are non-refundable/non-transferable due to vendor agreements.  
  • Written cancellation requests must be emailed to info@serenitytravelexperts.com.  
  • Travel Insurance is highly recommended for reimbursement eligibility.  
 
Reservation Changes:
  • Changes incur a $150 per person fee plus additional supplier charges; airline reservation name changes require cancellation and rebooking.  
  • Replacing travelers constitutes a cancellation, subject to penalties.
 
Late Payments & Reinstatement:
  • Late fees apply immediately after the final payment due date; see individual tour descriptions for details.  
  • Reinstating canceled reservations within 14 days requires a $50 domestic or $200 international fee.  
 
Additional Important Notes:
  • Serenity Travel Experts strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance.  
  • Passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of travel.  
  • Hotel room assignments, itineraries, and vendor selections are subject to change, ensuring equivalent or enhanced experiences.
 

Itinerary:

  • Day 1: Arrival in Accra

    • Arrive at Kotoka International Airport in Accra, where a private transfer will take you to The Royal Senchi Resort in Akosombo (approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour drive).​

    • Check-in and enjoy a welcome drink as you settle into your luxurious accommodations.​

 
  • Day 2: Volta River Exploration

    • Start your day with a leisurely breakfast at the resort.​

    • Experience a captivating boat ride along the Volta River, taking in the serene landscapes and local wildlife. Estimated cost: $50 per person.​

    • Return to the resort for an afternoon of relaxation by the pool or indulge in a spa treatment.

 
  • Day 3: Cultural Immersion in Accra

    • After breakfast, embark on a day trip to Accra.​

    • Visit the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Memorial Park to learn about Ghana's first President and the nation's journey to independence. Estimated cost: $10 per person.​

    • Explore Black Star Square and Independence Arch, iconic symbols of Ghana's freedom. This is a public area with no entrance fee.​

    • Enjoy a traditional Ghanaian lunch at a local restaurant. Estimated cost: $15 per person.​

    • Visit the Arts Center for a drumming lesson and explore local crafts. Estimated cost: $20 per person.​

    • Return to the resort in the evening.

 

Day 4: Cape Coast and Elmina

  • Depart early for a day trip to Cape Coast.​

  • Tour the historic Cape Coast Castle and the infamous "Door of No Return," reflecting on the poignant history of the transatlantic slave trade. Estimated cost: $15 per person.​

  • Visit Elmina Castle and take a walking tour through Elmina Township, experiencing local life and culture. Estimated cost: $15 per person.​

  • Return to the resort in the evening.

 

Day 5: Kakum National Park

  • After breakfast, head to Kakum National Park.​

  • Experience the exhilarating canopy walkway, offering a unique perspective of the rainforest. Estimated cost: $20 per person.​

  • Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Estimated cost: $10 per person.​

  • Return to the resort for an evening at leisure.
