Itinerary:
- Day 1 -: 9:00 am- All Aboard the Essence Express Party Train! The fun begins as soon as we board the Amtrak Crescent on our scenic ride to New Orleans. Sit back and relax, or join in the fun, or sleep the entire way- everything is taken care of for you! Upon arrival, our shuttle buses will be waiting to take us over to our hotel for check-in.
- Day 2-3- Welcome to Essence Fest Weekend! There is NO shortage of things to do in NOLA. You'll receive invites and a list of ideas from us with all sorts of things you can get into during your stay this Essence weekend. Ask one of our "Essence Experts" for some good food recommendations, free parties, and other good stuff- or you can just go with the flow and see where you end up. NOLA is such a welcoming city, and we guarantee that you'll end up making new lifelong friends!
- Day 4- Happy 4th of July! We're meeting up for FIREWORKS on the Mississippi River! Join us on the Creole Queen 4th of July Celebration Cruise, including a buffet, live entertainment, and open call brand bar. Stroll from room to room, dancing to a DJ in one room and a live jazz band in another while cruising on the river with enchanting views of the Crescent City. Be sure to get your tickets in advance on the checkout page because this sells out fast!
- Day 5- Farewell Crescent City! Meet in the Lobby to hop on our shuttle back to the Amtrak station. All Aboard! For our relaxing trip back to Atlanta.
Cancellations:
Because this trip takes place over a holiday weekend and during a major festival, suppliers may have stricter cancellation policies than usual. We ALWAYS recommend purchasing travel insurance- yes, It's worth it!
If cancelled by Jan 1, 2027 receive a full refund less deposit.
If cancelled by April 1, 2027 receive $150 refunded to Queen and King Package. $300 refunded to Bougie Package to original form of payment.
If cancelled after April 1, 2027 receive $0 refund.
All deposits are non-refundable.
