Booking Terms & Conditions (Please read in its entirety):
- It is your responsibility to read our TERMS & CONDITIONS.
- Making reservations for this trip and paying your deposit signifies your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions.
- Due to strict contractual obligations with suppliers for group bookings which will not allow us to obtain refunds, all payments to The Travel Empire are non-refundable and non-transferrable for this trip. This way we can keep our package prices competitive with lots of amenities included and allow you to make monthly/flexible payments on your vacation.
- VALID PASSPORT REQUIRED to book and must be valid AT LEAST 6 MONTHS BEYOND YOUR RETURN DATE. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents.
- Reservations must be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport. If you enter your name incorrectly, a name change fee may apply.
- Prices and availability are subject to change without notice and until a deposit is received. Please make your reservations today at this low price to be locked in. Pricing is NOT guaranteed until you have received a payment confirmation. If there are any price change, you will be notified BEFORE payment is processed.
- Travel insurance is optional but highly recommended to protect your investment. If you choose not to purchase travel insurance/protection, you acknowledge and accept that you may be liable for any cancellation penalties and out-of-pocket expenses incurred. You also accept that you will make your own provisions in the event of an emergency (health or otherwise) while travelling or in the event of quarantine or extended stay. Please consult with your insurance advisor for specific travel insurance advice & policies for your trip.
- Monthly payments (or as otherwise outlined on your invoice) are required to keep your reservations current. You may make larger monthly payments than what is required or pay your balance in full at any time.
- Name Change Fee: US$50.00 before the final payment date plus any vendor/airline change fees. Name changes are not allowed after final payment date.
- Change Fees: After booking and making your deposit, there will be a US$50 change fee per person for any changes or modifications to the reservation (including roommate changes), plus any applicable airline or supplier change fees before any changes can be made.
- Late payment Fee: Payments not received by close of business on the monthly due date on your invoice will incur an automatic US$50 late fee per person. Late payment of US$150 per person is required AFTER the final due date listed on your payment plan/invoice. Late payment fees are automatically added to your reservation the day after your final due date.
- All late payment requests must be approved in writing to The Travel Empire at info@thetravelempirebb.com before the final payment deadline on your invoice.
- Payments more than 30 days past due could result in the cancellation of your reservation and all monies being forfeited. Any reservations not paid in full by the final payment day will be cancelled and all monies forfeited.
- You should be aware that COVID-19 and the health and security measures around COVID-19 may impact elements of your trip and influence the operation of some travel services. It is each traveller's responsibility to keep themselves informed of all requirements in relation to their trip and any COVID-19 based restrictions, and we suggest these are constantly monitored right up until departure, as they can change at any time. The same applies to any travel companions and all members of a group who may be travelling. The Travel Empire is not liable for any loss due to failure to read and understand the information and its relationship to your trip. For more information, The Travel Empire recommends consulting the applicable Government websites for any specific travel advisory information pertaining to you or your destination(s).
- All prices are based on the rates of exchange in effect at the time of price quotation. In the event that the US dollar devalues, The Travel Empire reserves the right to increase prices accordingly. Your final invoice will reflect increases resulting from currency devaluation.
- At check-in, a credit card/debit card will be required to cover anticipated incidentals/room charges.

Roommate matching: Roommate matching assistance is available for this trip. There's always someone wanting to travel and no one to travel with.
- You will select “double occupancy” on the booking form. On the reservation notes form, you will select “yes” for roommate match. Roommates will not be matched until after 75% of your reservation total has been made on your invoice. We will do our best to room you with someone if there are any interested parties, and you will be required to complete a roommate matching questionnaire to ensure your roommate is a good fit. The Travel Empire expressly disclaims any liability or responsibility for any roommate that you ultimately select to be paired with. This service is offered as a courtesy to assist solo travellers who are looking to take advantage of double occupancy pricing.
- Please ensure your roommate has made their reservation and are making timely payments as required. If 30 days before departure there is no roommate available, the booking will automatically update to single occupancy and will be required to pay the single rate to retain/secure your booking.
- If you book a double occupancy package and a roommate backs out, the booking will automatically update to a single occupancy package. Should you find a roommate email us at info@thetravelempirebb.com.
- Refunds will not be given due to roommate abandonment. You must ensure your roommate, if applicable, is also making timely monthly payments as required.
- Should the trip be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, border closures or travel restrictions, we will move it to a later date.
- A full day-by-day itinerary will be provided at least 21 days before travel, if not earlier.
Cancellation Policy:
- All payments (deposits & monthly payments) are non-refundable and non-transferable after booking. Flights are non-refundable and non-transferable 24 hours after booking.
- Please note that if your roommate cancels, you will be responsible for paying the difference of the cost of the room if you are unable to secure a replacement.
