The lower of the two rates will be used when full deposit is made and an updated invoice will be sent.

Are there accessible rooms available?
There are accessible staterooms available in different categories for guests with mobility issues and disabilities that require the use of the accessible features in the staterooms. Please email hifivetravel4u@gmail.com for further assistance.

Are there children programs onboard?
There are complimentary children programs available for ages 2 and up. Programs for ages under 3 and late night care may be available for an additional charge. Infants sailing on a cruise must be at least 6 months old as of the first day of the cruise with the exception of the following cruises: Children must be at least 12 months of age at the time of embarkation in order to sail on trans-ocean crossings and remote itineraries, where there are more than 2 consecutive sea days

Is smoking allowed?
Most ships are designated as non-smoking; however, there are areas of the ships designated as smoking areas.

Why are there gratuities/service charges?
Gratuities/service charges are customary aboard most cruise lines. The amounts are shared among Dining Services Staff, Stateroom Attendants and Other Housekeeping Services Personnel. Gratuity service charges are also added to bar services, specialty dining, and spa services. Guests who wish to reward exceptional service during their cruise by providing additional gratuities may do so with cash at their discretion.

What are travel protection/insurance plans?
Plans offer pre-trip cancellation waivers if you need to cancel your cruise for certain reasons such as illness or death. Reimbursement may be in the form of a future cruise credit. Plans also include coverage and reimbursement for medical emergencies, trip delays, trip interruption, medical evacuation, and lost, damaged, or stolen luggage during travel.

Is there phone and internet service?
Internet packages are available for purchase. Mobile phone service is also available for use when the ship is at sea, in international waters, and in other areas where permitted. As you sail into international waters, mobile service charges can add up, so it is recommend that guests turn off their mobile data or use airplane mode and connect to the ship’s internet instead. You can purchase an internet package before or during your cruise.

HOW DO GRATUITIES WORK ON A CARNIVAL CRUISE?

The staff on your cruise works hard to make fun happen for you, and Carnival guests show their appreciation by tipping. Stateroom attendants, waitstaff and other folks you’ll see throughout your cruise appreciate the tips they receive, as do employees working hard behind the scenes to make your cruise amazing!

The easiest way to show you care is through automatic gratuities. This is great because it makes sure nobody’s efforts are forgotten. When booking, these tips can be automatically applied with a click!

OKAY, HOW MUCH?
Tips are on a per-guest basis, at the following rate:
  • Standard Staterooms: $16 USD per guest, per day
  • Suite Staterooms: $18 USD per guest, per day
(Remember that these figures are for everyone who helps you, throughout your cruise!)
MORE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT TIPPING
  • Tips are assessed for all guests ages 2 and up.
  • A service charge of 18% will be added to your bill at Bonsai Sushi, Bonsai Teppanyaki, Chef’s Table, Emeril’s Bistro, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse and Seafood Shack. Additional gratuities can be added at your discretion.
  • When ordering room service, tipping is encouraged upon delivery.
  • Tips are not included in the menu price of beverages — an 18% service charge will be added to the bill, and additional gratuities can be added at your discretion.
