Important Booking Requirements for Double Occupancy

All double-occupancy reservations must meet both of the following requirements at the time of booking:

Confirmed roommate required
You must provide the full name of your intended roommate at the time of booking. If a second traveler is not identified, the reservation may be canceled.

Deposit required for both travelers
The full deposit must be received for both travelers at the time of booking. If a deposit is not received for both travelers, the reservation will be canceled and any single deposit received will be returned.

For guests who wish to extend their journey beyond Zanzibar, this optional luxury safari experience offers a seamless and memorable way to conclude the trip.

Immediately following the end of the primary Zanzibar itinerary, guests will transition to mainland Tanzania for a guided safari in Mikumi National Park, one of the country’s most wildlife-rich and scenic national parks.

This experience is intentionally designed to feel like a natural continuation of the trip—not an add-on that feels rushed or disconnected.

⚠️ Important Airfare Note:
Participation in this safari requires a separate flight from Zanzibar to mainland Tanzania (Dar es Salaam). This airfare is not included in the safari price and must be booked separately by participants.

What to Expect

After arriving in Dar es Salaam from Zanzibar, guests will be transferred by private, fully air-conditioned vehicle to Mikumi National Park. Accommodations will be at a luxury safari lodge featuring air-conditioned rooms, ensuite bathrooms, and on-site dining.

The safari experience includes:

  • Arrival Day (Friday):

    • Arrival in Dar es Salaam from Zanzibar

    • Transfer from Dar es Salaam Airport to Mikumi National Park

    • Flexible arrival flow:

      • If arrival allows → lunch at the lodge, followed by a sunset game drive

      • If arrival is later → proceed directly to the sunset game drive

  • Full Safari Day (Saturday):

    • Early morning game drive

    • Breakfast and lunch at the lodge

    • Leisure time to rest and enjoy the lodge

    • Second sunset game drive in the late afternoon

  • Departure Day (Sunday):

    • Breakfast

    • Early checkout
