In 2026, we are setting sail on a relaxing 7-night Caribbean escape beginning in vibrant San Juan (pre-cruise packages will be available soon)!

- Seven Night Cruise in a Central Sea Terrace Cabin with Balcony Hammock ("Sea Terrace" is Virgin's lingo for "Balcony Cabin")

Bar Tab - You Can Purchase These In The App Anytime After Booking - Up to 24 Hours Prior to Departure:
Virgin does drink packages a bit differently. Instead of spending almost $2k to purchase a standard drink package for everyone in your cabin (as you would with many other cruise lines), Virgin offers "Bar Tabs" instead.
Bar Tabs simply allow you to pre-pay a certain amount in advance for use towards beverages onboard the ship so you don't have to worry about a large bill at the end of the sailing.
They are sold individually and not everyone in your cabin has to purchase it.
You can also use it to buy as many drinks as you'd like in one sitting, so if you want to treat your friends to a round, you can do so! There is also no daily limit.
As an incentive to pre-pay for your drinks, Virgin provides an additional "bonus" towards your pre-paid bar tab. Ex: Pre-purchase a tab for $500, and receive an additional $100 for $600 total.
Bonus Bar Tab Amounts:
Please keep in mind that, while bar tabs are refundable after purchase, they become non-refundable once onboard the ship, and may only be used towards the purchase of alcoholic beverages, specialty coffees, smoothies, and energy drinks. If you don't use it during the cruise, you lose it.
Here are two standard drink menus with pricing so that you can plan your bar tab purchase accordingly:
Travel Insurance :
Virgin Voyages provides insurance coverage for an additional $144 PER PERSON. This insurance will only cover the items booked through Virgin Voyages. If you are planning to purchase additional service such as air and pre-cruise packages outside of Virgin Voyages, we will provide additional insurance information for those services at time of booking.

Pre Cruise Packages in San Juan:
After booking, you will receive a separate form to sign up for pre-cruise packages in San Juan if you wish. We have a limited amount of one night and two night packages available.
Airfare:
You may book airfare on your own anytime, or we are happy to provide you with a quote. We don't receive any special promotions or discounts on airfare, so our pricing will be the same as booking directly with the airlines. Airfare would need to be paid in full at time of booking.
After booking your cruise, you will receive an air request form from us. Please fill this out with your preferences.
If you decide to book airfare on your own, please email your full air itinerary to traci@tenpalmstravel.com at your earliest convenience.
If you book air on your own, please be advised of the following arrival dates into San Juan:
- If purchasing the two night pre-cruise package, please arrive in San Juan on November 5, 2026
- If purchasing the one night pre-cruise package, please arrive in San Juan on November 6, 2026
- If flying in the day of the cruise (not recommended, but sometimes necessary), please be sure your flight arrives no later than 2:00pm on November 7, 2026
Departure Dates and Times:
Please plan your departure flight for November 14, 2026, no earlier than 12:00pm.
Private Shore Excursions:
After booking, we will provide you with links to our preferred third party excursion providers as well. Virgin does not open booking for their Shore Things until June 25, 2026. We will also have a few selected private excursions available as well that will be open for booking soon.

Payment Details:
- A deposit of $700 per cabin is due at time of booking to secure your spot!
- If you are choosing additional add-ons now (such as Bar Tabs or Insurance), payment is due in full for these services at time of booking. Insurance would need to be purchased at time of final payment (non-refundable once purchased). Bar Tabs can be added anytime up to 24 hours prior to sailing, but bonus amounts are subject to change with brand updates until booked and paid. They are, however, refundable up to 24 hours prior to booking.
- The final cruise payment is due on July 10, 2026
- Pre Cruise packages and Airfare will have separate payment requirements. The above information only applies to the cruise. After booking, we will email you more information regarding airfare, pre-cruise packages, and private shore excursions.

Cruise Cancellation Policy:
120+ days before sailing: Deposits convert to Future Voyage Credit; all other additional payments above deposit amount are refunded.
119–45 days before sailing: All voyage fare payments are non-refundable (excluding taxes and fees), but will be transferred to Future Voyage Credit.
44 days or less before sailing: All voyage fare payments are non-refundable (excluding taxes and fees). Only secondary Sailors name (not Sailor #1) may be changed.

I want to go, but I am not sure who will travel with me. Should I go ahead and book now?
Yes! Traveler names can be changed anytime a week before departure.
Will I enjoy a Virgin Voyage?
We hope so! Virgin is not your average cruise and the experience is different than what you would get onboard a traditional cruise ship. There are many key differences that you'll want to be aware of before booking:
- No kids—unless you love pools and hot tubs filled with tiny tots, you’ll adore Virgin!
- Forget main dining rooms or buffets: all meals are served in included specialty dining venues or in the made-to-order, food-truck-style galley where you can eat anytime.
- Entertainment isn’t traditional—no cruise director or Broadway-style productions here. Instead, expect signature shows, surprise pop-ups, themed parties, karaoke, art classes, interactive games, and live music across genres, led by the lively “happenings” cast. Participate as much—or as little—as you like.
- If you love the feel of a luxury yacht rather than a glitzy cruise ship, you’ll love the onboard spaces.
- More Inclusive - Tips, wifi, workout classes, and soda are included in your standard fare.
- Cheeky humor, the occasional double entendre, and an inclusive spirit are all part of the fun. Everything is playful, and not meant to be offensive, but you'll want to make sure this vibe is right for you.
