Fed by Rimrock Lake’s warm waters released in late August and September, the Tieton, a favorite for whitewater enthusiasts, offers a fast-paced ride with continuous Class III–IV rapids and the steepest gradient of most any river—dropping 58 feet per mile. Its short season makes it extra special, delivering warm water, thrilling rapids, and striking fall colors set against Eastern Washington’s rugged landscape.All guests will be required to acknowledge the risk involved in this outdoor adventure activity, and each person is to read and sign the "Assumption of Risk" form when checking in at the river and before participating in the activity.
