- Depart your group's location in a spacious, video and restroom-equipped motorcoach as you head for your destination: beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, nestled among the Blue Ridge Mountains! Tonight, check into an en-route hotel for a good night's rest.
- Day 2
- Today after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you will continue towards your destination. Tonight, you'll enjoy Dinner before checking into your Asheville area hotel for a three-night stay.
- Day 3
- Begin the day by enjoying a Continental Breakfast, before departing for a visit to the spectacular BILTMORE ESTATE, America's largest privately owned home. Your visit will include experiencing the Biltmore House and Gardens. You will also visit the Antler Village and Winery. This village connects the Biltmore Estate's present and past, providing a relaxing place for dining, shopping, historical exhibits, and new ways to experience Biltmore's hospitality. This is a “must-see” destination in America. Later, you'll enjoy Dinner with entertainment before returning to your hotel for the night.
- Day 4
- Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before departing for a GUIDED TOUR OF ASHEVILLE. Downtown Asheville features more Art Deco architecture than any other southern city outside of Miami Beach. You will also see the magnificent ST. LAWRENCE BASILICA. This afternoon, you will go with your guide for a drive on the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, America's most visited National Park unit and known as “America's favorite drive”. You will visit the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center and see “The Blue Ridge Parkway – America's Favorite Journey”, a 24-minute film shown in High Definition surround sound and using breathtaking aerial photography. Later, you will visit the famous FOLK ART CENTER. This evening, you will enjoy Dinner before returning to your hotel to relax and recall the day's highlights.

- Enjoy a Continental Breakfast before leaving for the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Nashville, TN. This evening, relax at your en-route hotel.

- Today after enjoying a Continental Breakfast, you depart for home... A perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you've done, the spectacular sights you've seen, and where your next group trip will take you!
Biltmore Estate
Escape to the scenic Biltmore Estate created by George Vanderbilt in the 18th Century. The winding three-mile Approach Road leading to the front of the Biltmore Estate combines native and exotic plants creating the essence of a subtropical terrain. Beautiful and serene you will leave your troubles at the entrance of Approach Road. The breathtaking Biltmore Estate sits on 8,000 acres of land in Asheville. Whether you want to uncover the rich history behind the Biltmore House, delight in the picturesque views from the Biltmore Gardens, or experience the lively activities happening at Antler Hill Village and Winery, all areas of the estate are easily accessible, so you can explore all the wonders of the Biltmore Estate.
Don’t forget your camera, the scenery is breathtaking no matter what season you choose to visit Biltmore Estate. Don’t miss out on the variety of the four seasons. While the Spring Garden is most beautiful in May, the Shrub Garden can be gorgeous on a fall day, so make sure you ask what to look out for.
George Vanderbilt moved to Asheville, North Carolina in 1888 and accumulated a little over 125,000 acres to build a home for himself. His 250-room Château, which officially opened on Christmas Eve in 1895, is now famous for being the largest house in the United States. The Biltmore is also known for holding the Vanderbilt family collection of art, furniture, and more, which was accumulated during their travels. The collection consists of more than 92,000 items including works by Monet, Renoir, and much more. In the Château, there are over 100 hand-decorated Christmas trees with a 35-foot-tall Fraser fir centerpiece located in the Banquet Hall. Over 25,000 ornaments and 100,000 holiday lights are used to decorate the Estate in order to provide a magical ambiance. 1,960 live poinsettias and over 1,000 feet of fresh evergreen garland are used to give the Estate a holiday feel and aroma!
Because of the historic grounds and architecture, handicap accessibility is limited. Only the first and second floors are accessible inside the home. The gardens and trails are not handicap accessible.

Folk Art Center
From woodwork to metalwork, jewelry making to basket weaving you can admire the craftsmanship of over 350 artists at the Folk Art Center, part of our Asheville bus tour. An integral part of the mountain culture, Frances Goodrich was inspired by the idea of a cottage industry that would assist mountain families after she met women in Asheville, North Carolina who were still weaving traditional coverlets in wool and cotton. Goodrich founded the Allanstand Cottage Industries in 1897 and along with the help from other leaders of the Southern Arts and Crafts Movement, the Allanstand Cottage Industries evolved into what is known today as the Allanstand Craft Shop. What was once Allanstand Cottage Industries has transformed over the years and through cooperative efforts between the Southern Highland Craft Guild, the National Park Service, and the Appalachian Regional Commission, it has become the most popular attraction on Blue Ridge Parkway seeing a quarter of a million visitors each year. Discover Appalachian arts and crafts in the center’s two galleries, see the artists at work, or take home one-of-a-kind crafts for yourself during your two-hour, self-guided tour of the Folk Art Center.
All areas of the Folk Art Center are accessible by wheelchair. It is important you let your reservations agent know ahead of time if you or someone in your party is handicapped so that they can make sure to accommodate your group in the most convenient and comfortable setting. Ask at the visitor’s desk in the Lobby Book Shop if you are interested in seeing one of the daily craft demonstrations. Members of staff will be able to tell you when demonstrations take place so that you can plan accordingly. Read Ahead. Familiarizing yourself with the background of Appalachian arts and crafts ahead of time will help you to have a better appreciation for the things you will be seeing throughout your time in the Folk Art Center.
