8-Night Caribbean Cruise
It's a long way from Venice to NYC, but Carnival Venezia thinks the two could be next-door neighbors. This ship is now sailing from its Big Apple homeport... and already has big Port Canaveral plans for the winter/spring 2025 season!
What can you expect to find in this ship? Well, there’s more than a little Italy in this one — that’s why we’re calling this new type of cruising Fun Italian Style™. It starts with the Venice-inspired atrium Piazza San Marco, the onboard flavor and flair continues at the three-course Marco Polo and Canal Grande Restaurants, La Strada Grill™ and its Italian street food, plus fusion spots Tomodoro™ (Mexican-Italian, yum!) and Guy’s Burger Joint (new burgers with Italian flavors — also yum!). And in authentic ristorante style, the elevated Italian of Il Viaggio. Sip well at bars that each specialize in their own thing: complex and sophisticated cocktails at Amari™, bubbly stuff (plus snacks and coffee) at Frizzante™, frozen everything at Rococó™ and fine Italian wines at Carnevale Bar & Lounge™. There’s great entertainment at the red-velvety Teatro Rosso and its Playlist Productions™ shows, plus Gondola Lounge was inspired by the famous canals of Venice. Terrazza staterooms are a whole new way to stay in style and comfort, all in a great location close to amenities like the exclusive Terrazza Carnevale, a private terrace deck made for lounging, sipping and fun, day or night!

All guests must complete their Online Check-in process up to 72 hours before their sailing date. Up to 72 hours before your sail date, you can check in online or with the Carnival HUB app with the 6 items listed below. The system will time out after 30 minutes, so double-check that you have everything below for each guest in your group before starting. On your actual day of sailing, you and everyone in your group will only need your signed SetSail pass, identification documents, and the credit card that you registered with to board — it’s that easy.
WHAT TO PACK
While onboard, the right look will vary by venue, and you can check out our quick cheat sheet that breaks down the difference between casual, smart casual, formal, and more. In general, make sure to pack deck-friendly shoes that are low-heeled and comfortable walking shoes for your days ashore. Also, pack a few swimsuits so you’ll always have a dry one handy. We always suggest that you carry all medications in their original prescription bottles in your carry-on just in case — along with 3 days of extra medication in the unlikely event of any type of unexpected change to your itinerary. After all, preparation is key to a fun and safe adventure.
LUGGAGE
You have the option to carry your bags onboard or check them in before you sail.
BAGGAGE TAGS
To keep boarding day running smoothly and get your luggage delivered to you, we issue baggage tags and instructions electronically ahead of your sailing through The Royal Guest eDocs. The eDocs are created once your online check-in has been completed.
They are ship-specific and include your sailing date, stateroom, and deck number. To expedite your check-in at the port, we recommend securing your luggage tags before you leave your house. However, if you have misplaced your tags Royal Caribbean Porters at the pier have additional generic tags available for your convenience.
CURRENCY
While onboard, you’ll have an Onboard Expense Account linked directly to your SeaPass for any purchases or services. SeaPass cards are administered at the pier or will be in your stateroom upon arrival, depending on your ship. For more information about setting up your SeaPass, click here. While you won’t need cash onboard, we do have ATMs on each ship along with limited currency conversion services for your days ashore. For foreign currency, we use the daily market rates published by the New York-based financial service company, Bloomberg.
Bermuda does not have any American banks; however, the Bermuda dollar and the U.S. dollar are used interchangeably on the island. Local ATMs accept most major U.S. ATM cards, and credit and debit cards are widely accepted by retail, restaurant, and service firms.
