April 16-Depart USA
 
April 17-Arrive Cairo ‘Welcome to Egypt’  
 
April 18-Pyramids and the GEM
Head to Giza Plateau to start our journey by marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Visit the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. After your pyramid visit, you’ll go for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and then head over to The New Grand Egyptian Museum , also known as the Giza Museum.
 
April 19-Fly to Aswan - Aswan sightseeing and board Nile cruise
After an early breakfast in the Hotel in Cairo, we will be transferred to Cairo Airport to transfer to Aswan. Landing in Aswan we will commence our day of Aswan sightseeing taking a tour and visiting its plethora of tourist attractions starting with the Majestic Philae Temple built in devotion to Isis and Hathor, two of the many Egyptian deities. last but not least we will visit the Unfinished Obelisk nested in the stone queries of Ancient Egypt. Finally head to our Nile Cruise.
 
April 20-Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples 
First, we sail to the unique Temple of Kom Ombo.  Of all the ancient Temples in Egypt, this is the only one that is divided into two, to reflect it’s dedication to two Gods Sobek, the Crocodile God of fertility, and the falcon-headed Horus, the God of the sky.  Kom Ombo is also famous for the depictions of surgeon's instruments, giving us an early record of medicine and surgery in Ancient Egypt. In the afternoon you visit the huge Ptolemaic Temple of Horus at Edfu, which is the most complete and best-preserved of the Egyptian Temples, consisting of many columns, halls, chambers, and chapels. Two statues of Horus flank the twin-towered entrance gate and inside, one of the interesting inscriptions lists the titles of books (scrolls) held in the library.
 
April 21-Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions   
Relax while watching daily life on the banks of the Nile as you sail to Luxor. En route, we will pass through the lock at Esna, where you are likely to be entertained by the local traders trying to sell their wares from rowing boats.  During the cruise, you will learn more about the art and architecture of Ancient Egypt as well as the mysteries of the Pharaohs and their fascinating culture.  At Luxor with our Guide, we will visit Karnak Temple, which is the world's largest ancient religious site.  There will be free time to explore the different parts of the huge complex built during the reigns of various Pharaohs. Then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor Temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals and dedicated to the God Amun and you may wish to take advantage at night, of the optional evening ‘Sound and Light Show’ which tells the story of Luxor and Karnak (Highly recommended).
 
April 22-Luxor Nile Cruise - Transfer to Hurghada Red Sea   
After enjoying a leisurely breakfast on board the Nile cruise boat, we will head to the West Bank of the River Nile to experience the original resting place of the world-famous King Tutankhamun in the Valley of the Kings along with discovering the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (the only Female Pharaoh) at El Deir EL Bahari and the two towering statues of the Colossi of Memnon (the three tombs visited are determined by the Egyptian Government as to preserve them from the large flow of visitors, therefore are rotated throughout the year and cannot be confirmed as to which tombs before your visit).  For the rest of the day you will have free time to spend at leisure in Luxor to experience the traditional culture of the Upper Egyptians before transferring to Hurghada (approximately 4 hours drive), the exciting resort destination, located on the pristine beautiful Red Sea, check into the hotel with free time at leisure and overnight stay to continue your Hurghada Red Sea Egypt phase of your Egypt
 
April 23-Free day in Hurghada
After breakfast, Choose one of the many other activities such as windsurfing, sailing and deep-sea fishing which are just a fraction of the many enjoyable and exciting things to explore in Hurghada Red Sea.

April 25-Amman: Mount Nebu - The Dead Sea
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the town of Madaba, where you will discover the ancient wonder, a beautifully crafted 6th-century Mosaic on the floor of the Old Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George, Following that, we head to Mount Nebo, the location where the Holy Prophet Moses was said to have gazed across at the Promised Land and is believed to be his final resting ground. An old Monastery overlooking the Jordan Valley, alongside other parts of the Holy Land is the next stop on your tour. Finally, a drive to the Dead Sea. Here you will get the chance to float on its famously unsinkable waters alongside its therapeutical mineral and mud properties. 
 
April 26-Petra  Tour - Wadi Rum
You will begin your day tour in Petra, the biggest and most famous attraction in Jordan.  Petra a city established around the 6th century B.C. the option of a horse ride or by foot to the Canyon is available, (the so-called Siq). We then proceed by foot to the inspiring monument known as the Treasury. Other Monuments are the Street of Facades, the Royal Tombs, and Pharaoh’s Castle. After the tour, we will drive to Wadi Rum to enjoy the bedouin camp for dinner and overnight.
 
April 27-Wadi Rum Tour -Departure back to Amman
After breakfast we will enjoy  Wadi Rum, a moonscape terrain of ancient riverbeds, wind-sculpted mountains, vast desert vistas, and smooth, pastel-colored sands. You will meet long-skirted legionnaires offering cardamom-spiced coffee at the "Beau Geste" outpost.  Enjoy a 2 hour jeep tour at this oasis home to the film "Lawrence of Arabia." A truly “out of this world” experience.  Head back to Amman.
 
April 28-Depart to USA

PRICES: Prices are per person based upon shared twin room occupancy, unless otherwise stated. Prices do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry, passport and visa fees, insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in the package inclusions. Prices are correct at time of publication; however, tour package prices and availability will change accordingly. In case of human or computer error, Where's Wendy Destinations reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided Where's Wendy Destinations receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.

Late Payment: If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your invoice, all travel services will be subject to automatic cancellation and cancellation fees will apply.

Form of Payment: All payments due are in US Dollars. We accept payment in form of major credit cards or debit cards. Third-party credit cards are not accepted. 

CANCELLATION:

Cancellation: Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations must be submitted in writing to whereswendy301@gmail.com. Cancellation fees will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following days prior to departure. Fees will be calculated as a percentage of the total amount received.  Cancellation fees will not be less than the initial non-refundable deposit.

    Up to 91 days prior to final payment: 30% per person
    90 to 31 days prior to final payment: 50%
    30 to 4 days prior to final payment: 90%

Hotel Accommodations: All rooms are standard twin/queen-bedded (two single beds) rooms with private facilities. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management on a run-of-house basis. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds or one double bed plus a sofa/folding bed or cot for third person except in the U.S. and Canada, where triple rooms often consist of two double/queen beds for three persons; a fee may be charged by the hotel for the addition of a cot/rollaway.  Some single rooms are smaller than a standard room size. The number of persons accommodated does not dictate the room size. While air conditioning is available in most hotels, its use abroad can differ significantly from the United States. Many international hotels were built before central air conditioning was introduced. In those that do offer air conditioning, usage may be restricted, often due to government regulations aimed at promoting energy conservation. It's typical for air conditioning to be used only during the summer months, may follow a set schedule (sometimes turned off at night), and operated at lower settings than what many Americans are accustomed to.  Hotel check-in time is generally not before 4:00 p.m. and check-out time is prior to noon. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used. If a day room is included in the itinerary, check-out will normally be 6:00 p.m. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations.
 
Meals & Dietary Requests: Included meals are based on the restaurant's set menu or buffet and usually represent local cuisine. Vegetarian meals are available in most locations, while vegan, protein-rich or gluten-free menus are rare. Special dietary requests, which must be selected in the passenger details section of your reservation, cannot be guaranteed. We are unable to provide meals in accordance with strict religious requirements, such as Kosher or Halal, nor can we accommodate specifically salt-free, high-protein or low-carb meals.
