Travel Insurance:
Travel Insurance is not mandatory but highly recommended!
Depending on the policy that you purchase, travel insurance may reimburse you if your travel plans change.
Airport:
Travelers should plan to arrive at Rafael Nunez International Airport (CTG) in Cartagena, Columbia on June 19, 2025.
Departure is on June 23, 2025.
Documents Needed:
A valid passport is required with at least six months validity past the return date of travel (June 23, 2025).
This means your passport cannot expire prior to December 23, 2025.
Proof of passport is required.
You will receive an email for submission.
A valid Tourist Visa is not required for stays of 90 days or less.

Deposit & Payment:
All prices are per person.
A deposit or full payment is due at the time of reservation.
Deposit for a payment plan must be paid in full. Partial deposits will not be accepted unless a promotion/special is offered.
All reservations requiring a deposit will incur a monthly payment plan.
Due to contractual agreements with vendors/suppliers, all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
All reservations can be paid for, in full, at the time of booking if space is still available.
Final Payment:
A payment is considered late AFTER the due date listed on the invoice and or dates of the payment schedule.
A late fee of $50 will automatically be added to your invoice one day after your payment date.
Reinstatement of Reservation:
If your reservation has been canceled and you request reinstatement within 14 days,
A fee of $75 will be added to your invoice and must be paid before the service is reconfirmed.
Last Minute Reservations:
All reservations must be made no later than 60 days prior to departure.
In the event that reservation is made on the 60th day, full payment is due at the time of reservation.
Form of Payments:
We accept bank drafts, major credit cards, and/or debit cards in US currency.
Reservation Changes:
Any changes to an existing reservation will incur a $50 per person charge including any increase in supplier fees.
This includes name changes and removal of services such as tours and transfers.
*Name changes to airline reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking which may incur a fee.
Replacing a passenger with another traveling passenger constitutes a cancellation and is subject to cancellation fees.
Changes or additions after the departure are subject to local rates when amending the reservation.
Passengers must pay any additional rates directly to the service provider.
There are no refunds for unused services.

Once reservations have been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing via email request to lina@optimalchoicetravel.com
Include the traveler's full name and date of travel.
If you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48 hours, please, contact us at 813-379-9110 to ensure your information was received.
Refunds are not available and travel insurance is highly recommended.
