Morocco is a beautiful country with a rich history and culture. It is located in North Africa and borders Algeria to the east, Mauritania to the south, and Western Sahara to the southwest. The Mediterranean Sea forms Morocco's northern coastline.
Day 1 (July 8th): CASABLANCA AIRPORT – CASABLANCA
Upon arrival in Casablanca, after proceeding through immigration customs and collecting your baggage, our representative will wait for you outside the terminal with a big welcome and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2 (July 9th): CASABLANCA
This morning, you will be met at your hotel for the full-day city tour. The tour begins with an outside visit to Hassan II Mosque. It is the largest mosque in the country and the 7th largest in the world. You then continue to the Ain Diab Corniche for a pleasant stroll along the coast. Your next stop is Mohammed V Square in the city center. The city tour includes the Habous Quarter, one of the oldest areas in Casablanca. The French built the district in the 1930s as an attempted solution to the ongoing housing shortage. It marries the best of traditional Moroccan architecture with modern facilities and French ideals - even the mosque fronts onto a strip of grassy lawn just like a village church. After the tour, have some free time, and return to your hotel overnight.
Day 3 (July 10th): CASABLANCA - RABAT - MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ
After breakfast, head to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. You will enjoy a short walk at the Mohammed V Mausoleum. Mosaics rise from the marble floor to a ceiling of gold leaf and hand-carved cedar wood, while the three ground-floor tombs are carved from white onyx. Next to the Mausoleum is the Hassan Tower, the towering minaret of the Hassan Mosque built in 1195. The morning ends with a visit to the Kasbah of the Udayas in Rabat's Medina. This fortification was erected on a mountain overlooking the ocean and constructed during the Almohads' realm. Inside the Kasbah, one can come across Andalusian gardens full of
fountains, orange trees, flowers, and palms. Then, on our way to Fez, we will explore the Roman Ruins of Volubilis and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss Meknes, Morocco's first Arab conqueror's settlement. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in this Imperial city and continue to Fez overnight.
Day 4 (July 11th): FEZ - City Tour
This morning, you will be met at your hotel for an all-day city tour of the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fez. The first stop is the entrance to Morocco's most enormous royal Palace. This palatial complex is located in the center of the Fez El-Jedid area and is surrounded by high walls with intricate and elaborate decorated ornamentations. The doors are bronze, and they shine like gold. The Palace's interior is unavailable to the public because the king of Morocco uses the complex when he visits Fez. We then continue the tour with a panoramic view of the medina before venturing to the heart of the largest old souk in the world, the medieval center of Fez. The medina of Fez has not changed for centuries. Its narrow alleys house hundreds of merchants and artisans selling various products such as dates, fish, spices, copper urns, carpets, and musical instruments. One of the most exciting sites in Fez is the leather souk, which has the oldest leather tannery in the world. The tannery dates back nine centuries. In Fez, you will visit the Jamaa Al-Karaouine (the world's first established university) and a Medersa (a Koranic school). You will also see the tannery, a clay workshop, the artisan quarters, and the other souks.
Day 5 (July 12th): FEZ – IFRANE - AGAFAY DESERT
Today, we experience the natural and wilder landscapes outside Fez: Drive to the high alpine region of Ifrane, filled with cedar and oak forests and home to the world's largest population of Barbary macaques, hundreds of animals, birds, and the oldest tree in Morocco's Middle Atlas, the 130-feet Gouraud's Cedar. The largest cedar forest in the world is found in this park, and several lakes or Dayats abound nearby. The Lion of Ifrane sits majestically in the city center and is undoubtedly one of the most photographed sites of the region. Ifrane feels like Switzerland with its clean air, scrubbed streets, and leafy outlook. The French built this
city in 1930, deliberately trying to re-create an alpine-style resort. It is a popular day trip for picnickers during summer, and the site attracts skiers in the winter. Stop for lunch (at your own expense). Continue to Marrakech via the highway, and upon arrival, continue to Agafay Desert to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 (July 13th): AGAFAY DESERT – MARRAKECH
Morning at leisure, or you can join the optional activities below:
Quad Ride Agafay: $116 per person
Live an incomparable experience in the Agafay Desert of Marrakech! Adventure and nature lovers will appreciate this activity in a unique setting with a breathtaking panorama.
From the ochre city, engage your all-terrain vehicle to climb the arid hills with steep paths. Explore magnificent sites, without exception, through the numerous tracks, leading you to meet authentic Berber villages.
Later in the afternoon, pack your bags for departure back to Marrakech, check-in, and overnight.
Day 7 (July 14th): MARRAKECH - City tour
After breakfast, enjoy the city tour of Marrakesh, the "Red City," a majestic place filled with palaces, gardens, markets, and mosques. Upon arrival, you will first stand by the Koutoubia Mosque with its 282 ft minaret, an architectural landmark dating back to the late 12th century. You will continue to the 19th-century stunning Bahia palace and discover the intricate work done by the local artisans to decorate this splendid home built by a powerful Vizir for his Harem. The building includes one hundred and fifty rooms, countless courtyards and interior gardens, a veritable labyrinth of corridors, a Koranic school, hammams, a harem, and stables. From there, we will start exploring artisan quarters and the colorful Souks to interact with the real life of the Marrakech people. Continue to Dar El Bacha Museum, built in 1910 and was the residence of Thami El Glaoui, named Pasha of Marrakech by Sultan Moulay Youssef in 1912. It is one of the medina's finest examples of Riad architecture, dripping with Moroccan Zellige (colorful geometric tilework), intricate white plasterwork, and heavily carved cedar-wood lintels.
Before sunset, we will be strolling in the square of which the city is so famed, Jemaa El Fna, where hundreds of locals and tourists come to spend the end of the day watching jugglers, dancers, fortune tellers, storytellers, and traditional musicians. After the tour, have some free time, then return to your hotel overnight.
Day 8 (July 15th): MARRAKECH
After breakfast, a day at leisure or wander on your own. You may want to sign in for one of the

The Hammam is a must-do activity in Morocco. Historically, the Hammam was a public bathhouse for the locals to clean off the dirt and grime invariably accumulated after traveling through the desert. Today, the Hammam still serves this purpose for the locals but is brought to a higher level for the tourists. In the Hammam, you'll be submerged by a complete relaxation experience within an authentic oriental décor where you'll be
Listen to your body in an atmosphere filled with water, oils, essences, and perfumes. Enjoy a 30-minute scrub with black soap or soothing spices to eliminate toxins from your body. On the way, you'll visit a run-by-women cooperative that extracts the Argan
oil unique to Morocco. Taking a secluded mountain road 1,800 meters above sea level, you will pass through traditional Amazigh villages built from adobe and stones. Continue your day trip to the Imlil Valley, famous for its fruit trees (apples, walnuts, almonds, peaches, etc.). In Imlil, enjoy a typical lunch with a local family encircled by the snowy summits of the High Atlas Mountains.
