AIRFARE

• If purchasing your own flight, you MUST purchase your flight before July 10, 2024 to allow us time to forward your information to the vendor to prepare for your airport transfer. Once you have purchased your flight please send us an email so we can ensure a shuttle is ready to transfer you to resort. The subject line should read: (Greece 2024_Your First and Last Name).
• The group flight will leave Dulles International Airport on October 3, 2024 and arrive in Athens on October 4, 2024. Hotel check-in is October 4, 2024 at 2pm. If you plan to purchase your own flight, be sure to make note of these dates and time to plan your flight and airport transfer accordingly.

Itinerary:

• Day 1 - October 4, 2024 (Athens):

  Upon arrival at Athens Airport, we will be welcomed by our guide and transfer to our hotel in Athens.  Rest of the day at leisure to check in and relax. Tonight, we will enjoy an ALL WHITE dinner party in a typical taverna of Plaka. Accommodation: ATHENS MARRIOTT

    

• Day 2 - October 5, 2024 (Athens):  

  After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Athens city tour. This tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister’s residence (ex: Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Athens. • Day 3 - October 6, 2024 (Athens/Mykonos):   

  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel in Athens. Pick up for transfer to Piraeus port to catch the ferry to Mykonos Greece’s most famous cosmopolitan island, a whitewashed paradise in the heart of the Cyclades. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Mykonos.   Enjoy your breakfast at hotel in Mykonos, this morning pick up for transfer to Mykonos port to catch the ferry to the island of Santorini, the stuff of myth and legend, with world-famous sunsets and breathtaking volcanic scenery. Arrival and transfer to hotel. Free time to relax or to explore the city at your own pace. • Day 6 - October 9, 2024 (Santorini):  Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up from the hotel today we will enjoy a visit at 2 ambassador wineries of Santorini for the wine and food lovers tour.  We will taste all the types of wines produced on the island. Enjoy wine pairings with Cycladic cheese, local bites and delicacies - enough to replace a light lunch. Walk in an 80-year-old vineyard & become familiar with the ancient vine training technique and the Santorini distinctive territory.  Learn about the wine history and culture of Santorini, the local grapes and the traditional and modern winemaking methods. • Day 7 - October 10,  2024 (Santorini/Athens):  

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Santorini. Pick up for transfer to Santorini port to catch your ferry to Piraeus port. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Athens. (Meal: Breakfast)

• Day 8 - October 11, 2024 (Athens): 

  Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Athens and check out. Pick up from your hotel to the International Airport of Athens to reach your flight back. (Meal: Breakfast)
