Although Acacia Holidays may provide information on visa requirements for various countries, it is the responsibility of the traveler to have all required documentation in his/her possession.

VII. HEALTH INFORMATION AND REQUIREMENTS

The United States Centers for Disease Control (http://www.cdc.gov) is a recommended source of health information for travelers. Please consult your personal physician for specific advice on all health issues prior to travel.

Although Acacia Holidays may provide information on health requirements and/or suggestions for various countries, it is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain and administer all medications and carry proof of required inoculations with him/her.

VIII. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE

Acacia Holidays’ policy is designed to match the policy of regional commercial air carriers for your anticipated itinerary. (https://www.skyexpress.gr/en/sky-experience/before-fly/fare-types) These restrictions are subject to change at any time.

If a traveler anticipates that baggage will exceed the above limit, extra luggage allowance or an extra seat may be booked at his/her additional expense no less than 60 days prior to commencement of services. This is wholly at the air carrier’s discretion. Should a traveler arrive with baggage that exceeds the stated limit, the traveler’s bag(s) may be flown on later flights and additional cost.

IX. INSURANCE

It is the traveler's sole responsibility to carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover the traveler, his/her dependent(s) and traveling companion(s) for the duration of the trip.  Insurance should include (but not be limited to) coverage for trip cancellation or interruption; emergency evacuation expenses; medical expenses; repatriation of remains; and damage, theft or loss of personal baggage, money, and goods.  Acacia Holidays and its representatives take no responsibility for any costs or losses incurred by the traveler, his/her dependent(s) or traveling companion(s) regarding, but not limited to, the above eventualities.  A traveler will be charged directly by the relevant service provider(s) for any required emergency services. Failure to carry proof of coverage may cause considerable delay in accessing such services.

Acacia Holidays will make every effort to accommodate special requests involving dietary restrictions or bedding preferences. Please advise your travel agent of any special needs or request at the time of booking.

XI. ACTIVITIES

Some activities in the final, agreed-upon itinerary may require a certain minimum level of fitness including, but not limited to navigating uneven terrain.  Please advise your travel agent at time of confirmation if you have any health or mobility issues that may prevent your full participation in scheduled activities.

XII. PRICES

Quoted prices are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes.  Acacia Holidays reserves the right to increase prices to cover increased costs, entrance fees, tourism levies, tariff, and/or taxes, and to reflect increases in foreign currency rates.

XIII. INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS

Acacia Holidays or its representatives can offer quotations for international or other on-tour flights. Airfares may be subject to service fees, cancellation penalties and/or surcharges and may change in price until full payment is received by Acacia Holidays and ticket(s) are issued.

Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances.  International air carriers are subject to international air conventions limiting their liability.  Limitations of liability are contained on the reverse side of the airline ticket or e-ticket receipt, or on the carrier's website, and form part of the Terms and Conditions of travel.  The passage contract in use by these companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these travel programs and/or passage.

XIV. CHANGES TO ITINERARY

Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules, please note that Acacia Holidays reserves the right, and is in fact obliged, to occasionally amend routes and accommodations as dictated by changing conditions. Acacia Holidays or its representatives are not responsible for additional costs resulting from delays to airline, train or other transportation schedules.

Acacia Holidays is not responsible for any delay, injury, loss or damage for reasons of force majeure (events beyond its control, including, but not limited to, acts of God; acts of war or civil unrest; government actions; strikes; and criminal or terrorist activities).  In these circumstances, Acacia Holidays will not be liable to pay any compensation or be otherwise responsible for any expense or losses you might incur where it is forced as a result to cancel, delay, curtail or change arrangements in any way or where the performance of agreed-upon services is prevented or affected.

XVI. TRAVEL ADVISORIES AND WARNINGS

It is the responsibility of the traveler to stay informed of the most current travel advisories and/or warnings that are in effect for the countries he/she is visiting.  This information can be found on the U.S. Department of State's website at http://travel.state.gov/ or by phone at 1-888-407-4747.
