This September, we’re wrapping up the summer season with an unforgettable day trip to Indiana Dunes National Park, where sun, sand, and skyline collide for the perfect outdoor escape.

On Saturday, September 6th, join us for a dynamic adventure that blends movement, relaxation, and flavor, with the opportunity to extend the fun overnight!

Itinerary:

Kick off the day with a scenic group hike through the Indiana Dunes National Park, featuring stunning lake views, shifting sand trails, and refreshing natural beauty.

Then, we’ll take a break lakeside for some well-deserved beach time (weather-pending), relax, vibe, take a dip, and recharge with snacks. (BYOS encouraged!)
In the afternoon, immediately after the hike, we’ll drive just 45 minutes to downtown Chicago to check into our overnight accommodations and get ready for the Taste of Chicago Festival, where we will indulge in world-class food and popular local eats, live entertainment, and a vibrant city atmosphere.

The Party Continues... Overnight!

The overnight stay is perfect for those who want to:

  • Join us for the Taste of Chicago festivities without the stress of a same-day return

  • IN CASE we are NOT feeling the crowds of the Taste Fest, we have curated an evening "Foodie Experience" for dining, deserts, and drinks along the Magnificent Mile to indulge in while avoiding the crowds!

  • Avoid a long drive home after an exciting day of hiking, sun, and fun

  • Extend the experience and make it a full weekend of connection, culture, and chill vibes

 

Our designated hotel will be within steps of The Taste of Chicago, and right in the midst of the bustling life of the city's Downtown area. Rooms are $235 for Single King Suites or 2 Double or Queen Beds Suite

Carpooling is available, first come, first serve, at the time of your booking. $45 per person for weekend transportation.

 

Cancellation Policy:

To receive a full refund for accommodations, all cancellations must be submitted by September 2nd. Any cancellations made after this date may forfeit payment, in accordance with the hotel’s cancellation policy. This policy is set by the hotel and is not determined by Hike & Dine Events.
