This morning we depart to take a half-day Royal Grand Palace Tour. We begin with a visit to the Royal Grand Palace, the nation’s landmark, most praised royal monument, and most popular tourist attraction in Thailand, is a must. The palace, which is the former royal residence of the Chakri Kings, is the perfect example of an ancient Siamese court. Built in 1782 by the King Rama I, it was the centre of power for more than 150 years. Indeed, the Grand Palace is an amazing place to visit, as it consists of over 100 brightly colored buildings, golden spires and glittering mosaics, that all date back to the foundation of Bangkok in 1782. Please note that photography is permitted in the Royal Palace Grounds and in the compounds of the Emerald Buddha Temple, but not inside the buildings.
Afterwards, we visit to “Wat Pho”, a giant Reclining Buddha covered in gold leaf, is regarded as the first centre of public education and is sometimes called ‘Thailand’s first university’. Mural paintings, inscriptions, and statues found in the temple educated people on various subjects such as literature, warfare, archaeology, astronomy, geology, meditation and is considered to be home of Thai traditional massages.
Dress Code: Please note that the chapel is a national shrine and that you will be required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulders, knees or strapless-heel shoes, and shoes must be removed before entering the temple buildings as a matter of respect.)
Tour Duration: 3.5 - 4 hrs depending on the hotel location and traffic situation.
Afterwards, we transfer back to the hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure until the evening to have Manohra Rice Barge Dinner Cruise excursion as your welcome dinner. It is a romantic and unique culture experience. The cruise departs at 7:30PM. Cruising along the Chao Phraya River on this elegant, restored wooden rice barge, you will be introduced to Bangkok by night. It is a spectacular and memorable journey as Thai culinary delicacies are served as you glide down The River of Kings. Enroute you will pass the famous Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn), the magnificent Grand Palace, The Royal Barge Boathouse, and numerous other temples and fascinating landmarks. A delicious Thai set Dinner (Gold Menu) is served featuring Thai dumplings, prawn skewers, spicy soups, regional curries, stir fries, fresh seafood, and a traditional Thai dessert. The cruise concludes at 09:30PM, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

APR 11 CHIANG MAI (B/L/D)
After an early breakfast, we depart for an exciting Excursion to the Elephant Sanctuary in Kanta. Today you will have the opportunity to feed, interact, play and bathe with the elephant for the full morning.
You will be picked up from your hotel by local 4WD Truck and it takes approximately 1.5 hours outside of Chiang Mai through rural landscapes, agricultural areas, and forested hills. When you arrive at the village, meet your guide and walk for 10-15 minutes through the village to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary. We change into traditional clothing and have an introductory lesson about elephant anatomy, history, and behavior. Afterwards, we meet the Elephants and feed, interact, and play with the elephants in their natural home as you learn about their behavior and history. A lot of activities you can try: taking photos with the elephants; enjoying a lunch of traditional Thai food and fresh fruit; walking with the elephants to the river; bathing and brush the elephants; joining the elephants for a therapeutic mud spa and swimming in the river and take photos with the elephants. In the end, we change back clothes and walk for 10-15 minutes through the village before we leave the Sanctuary and return to Chiang Mai.

With the benefit of your guide's expertise, meet local vendors and taste delicious grilled meats, seafood, curries, soups, noodles and rice dishes. This market is popular with locals and is a great place to wander, relax and soak up the nighttime atmosphere of Chiang Mai. Continue onwards to the Night Market or Night Bazaar to find some souvenirs! We return to the hotel late in the evening.

APR 13 PHUKET PHI PHI ISLAND EXCURSION (B/L)
Today, time to relax a little with a day excursion to Phi Phi Island by join-in speedboat with return private transfers. Our day starts in the morning, as you will be picked up from the hotel and by private transfer to the prestigious Royal Phuket Marina, where we board the join-in speedboat for the transfer to Phi Phi Island. The journey will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes and speedboat capacity is 30 passengers per boat. Phi Phi Island is known for its white sandy palm fringed beaches, lime stone mountains and caves, along with stunning rock formations, vivid turquoise waters and colorful marine life. We will snorkel and swim in clear water at Pilh Cove and have a sightseeing of the Viking Cave, a large limestone cavern where ancient rock paintings can be found and now is home to bird nest producing swallows. Feeding the local inhabitants at "The Monkey Beach" and you will appreciate the magnificent marine life at the Great Coral Reef. After lunch at Phi Phi Natural Resort (a Private beach), we explore to Bamboo Island, is flat beautiful island with blending white sand and very clear water, where you can enjoy some free time to swim and snorkel or simply lie and rest on the beach. There is also a nice coral reef near the beach. In the late afternoon, we return to the Royal Phuket Marina and transfer back to your hotel.
