You don’t need another crowded itinerary or a ship full of strangers to see Croatia. This is a private yacht charter for a small group of my clients, designed to give you a completely different experience of the Dalmatian coast. You’ll swim directly from the yacht, dock in the heart of historic towns, and have the time and space to actually enjoy where you are.
We sail in the mornings, stop for swim breaks in gorgeous coves, and arrive in port with time to explore, dine, and settle in. The route includes a mix of well-known stops and smaller towns that are harder to reach any other way.

Who This is For
Our exact route may shift slightly based on weather and sea conditions; this is one of the advantages of chartering a private yacht. The Captain retains full authority over the vessel and itinerary to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests.
Unlike cruise ships, we sail during the day and are typically docked in port each evening. This allows for a more immersive experience with time to swim directly from the ship, enjoy scenic cruising, and explore each destination at your own pace. Afternoons and evenings are intentionally left open: wandering narrow streets, discovering local wine bars, or simply taking in the rhythm of each place. Dinners are on your own in port, except for the Captain's Dinner on board.

Before you set sail along the Dalmatian Coast, please review the following details to ensure a smooth and well-prepared experience.
Travel Documents: Make sure your passport is current and valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date (approximately August 1, 2027).
Luggage & Packing: Space is limited on these vessels. Packing lightly is strongly encouraged. Soft-sided luggage and/or carry-on-sized suitcases are ideal due to limited cabin storage. Pack light, breathable clothing, a light jacket, non-slip shoes or sandals, and sun protection. Reef-safe sunscreen is encouraged. Dress is casual, with some smart-casual evening wear welcome. Sun dresses for women and khaki shorts and collared shirts are perfectly acceptable at most dining establishments.
Fitness to Travel: This sailing is best suited for travelers who are in good general health and comfortable navigating a small vessel and historic coastal towns. Guests should be able to walk unassisted on uneven surfaces such as cobblestone streets, step on and off the yacht, and manage stairs onboard. While the pace of the journey is relaxed, this is an active style of travel that includes swimming, walking, and time spent outdoors in hot summer conditions. By booking this trip, guests acknowledge that they are physically able to participate in the activities described.
Dietary Restrictions: We’re happy to share any dietary preferences or restrictions with our onboard team and partners and will do our best to accommodate them wherever possible. That said, due to the nature of small-ship travel and regional cuisine, we are not able to guarantee strict dietary environments (such as fully gluten-free kitchens, kosher certification, or allergen-free food preparation).
About Lastavica
Owned by Igor Stančić and his family, they have over 50 years of experience in tourism on the Adriatic Sea. After maritime school, Igor started the first scampi business in Kvarner and met Irena Sladić. They had their son, Filip, and together, worked hard to build a very successful business, but the draw of tourism and sharing their love of Dalmatia was strong.
In 2001, they purchased the first Lastavica (meaning swallow bird in Croatian) and ran day tours from Makarska Riviera. By 2005, Igor and Irena decided to sell Lastavica in order to purchase a newer, larger ship that could take guests out on week-long cruises. Keeping the namesake, Lastavica, the Stančićs became known for their personable service, high standards of quality, and great care for their guests. At the same time, they developed many great friendships with local winemakers, artisans, and cheesemakers - all of which you'll experience throughout your time onboard.
Once Filip completed his nautical education, the family built not one, but two new ships that would be under the command of father and son. With state-of-the-art technology, modern furnishings, and exceptional Croatian cuisine, Lastavica and Swallow offer the very finest in Dalmatian Coast cruising - all while keeping the personal touch of the Stančić family. When you cruise with Lastavica, you embark as a guest and return home as part of their family.
