Terms & Conditions

 

Before we make arrangements for your flight, hotel, car rental, tour, cruise, or other  trip, we require that you sign this form; your signature will signify your agreement with the following terms and conditions:

 

Lawal Travel Services (“Lawal Travel”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”).  Lawal Travel is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.

 

Lawal Travel assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the Suppliers; (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under Lawal Travel’s control; and (4) any Supplier price drop after your travel arrangements have been confirmed, paid in full, or ticketed.  You hereby release Lawal Travel from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.


Travel arrangements involving airline and cruise components are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed by the supplier and/or government after you have completed your purchase. You hereby consent to any such price increases and authorize your credit or debit card to be used for them. Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms. By signing below, you are consenting to those terms and conditions.

 

Lawal Travel has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel.  For a warning about terrorism in Europe, go to: http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/alertswarnings/europe-travel-alert.html. For a worldwide terrorism alert, go to: 

http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/alertswarnings/worldwide-caution.html.           For information concerning other possible dangers at destinations, Lawal Travel recommends contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov.  For medical information, Lawal Travel recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel.  You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s).  You hereby release Lawal Travel from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in Davidson County Tennessee will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or Lawal Travel, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

In the event of cancellation, Lawal Travel Services charges a cancellation fee of 10% of the total trip cost or $100, whichever is greater. An invoice for the cancellation fee will be emailed to you and payment must be received before your cancellation request will be processed. This fee is in addition to any supplier or vendor fees and penalties.

 

For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance. However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance We also strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased.

Planning Fee Agreement
In order to perform the professional services required to design and arrange your travels, a planning fee is required. The fee is non-refundable, non-transferable, and final upon receipt.
 
Travel planning involves a great deal of time. Our work is based on years of personal experience and professional expertise. We research destinations, hotels/resorts, tour providers, cruises, and activities to meet your specific needs, contact suppliers, coordinate transportation, draft itineraries, and more. We provide itineraries, vacation plans, and tailored travel arrangements that give travelers peace of mind and save them time. 
 
If you choose not to book through us for any reason (decided not to go, booked elsewhere, etc.), then the fee will be retained by us as payment for services rendered. The planning fee is valid for 30 days. Otherwise, we will consider the request canceled. If you reconvene anytime thereafter, a new planning fee will be due.
 
Planning Fee Breakdown
By signing the planning fee form, you hereby agree to this Agreement and its terms listed herein:
  • The authorization & disclosure is not considered complete until this form is executed by you
  • We will not commence any planning until the planning fee has been paid, and we will not continue any planning if planning fees are due.
  • Your quotes/proposals/itineraries cannot be released until this form is executed and returned.
  •  I agree with the above terms and conditions and retain Lawal Travel Services to research my travel plans.
  • I agree that the planning fee is nonrefundable, non-transferable, final, and is not applied towards reservation booking.
  • Furthermore, I understand a new planning fee will be charged should I initiate any new requests after 30 days.
