Planning Services
Meli Signature Travel offers different levels of planning support based on your travel needs and the level of assistance you would like.
Planning fees cover the professional time, research, expertise, and coordination involved in creating your personalized travel experience. Depending on the service selected, this may include destination and resort research, curated travel options, itinerary development, special requests, payment-plan coordination, and pre-travel support.
After completing your inquiry, select the planning option that best fits your needs. Planning fees are non-refundable and are separate from the cost of your vacation.
Already know exactly what you want to book? Complimentary booking assistance may be available for qualifying travel that requires little or no custom research.
Important Information
Custom proposals are generally delivered within 3–5 business days after your completed inquiry and applicable planning fee are received. More complex or multi-destination trips may require additional time, which will be communicated in advance.
Travel pricing and availability are subject to change until the required deposit or full payment has been received and confirmed by the travel supplier.
Please review your proposal and provide feedback within 7 days. If I do not hear from you within that period, your planning request may be closed. If you decide to resume planning later, updated pricing and availability will be required, and an additional planning fee may apply.

Best for travelers who want professional research, personalized recommendations, and guidance selecting and booking the vacation that best fits their needs, preferences, and budget.
Your planning service includes:
• A review of your travel needs, preferences, priorities, and budget
• Professional research using trusted travel advisor, supplier, and industry resources
• Up to three curated travel options selected specifically for your trip
• A personalized proposal webpage where you can easily review and compare your options
• One reasonable round of revisions based on your original trip request and feedback
• Booking assistance for the core travel components you select, such as your resort, hotel, cruise, vacation package, or airfare when applicable
• Payment plan setup when available through the selected travel supplier
• Pre-travel guidance and support for your confirmed booking
Please Note: The $75 planning fee covers one trip request based on the destination, travel dates, budget, and preferences provided in your inquiry. Significant changes to the destination, dates, number of travelers, budget, or overall trip scope may require a new or additional planning fee.

Your Signature™ Planning service includes:
• Everything included in Professional Vacation Planning
• Personalized itinerary development that organizes your confirmed travel plans and experiences in one place
• Direct coordination with hotels and resorts for special requests and arrangements
• Assistance coordinating dining reservations, excursions, tours, events, and other travel experiences
• Coordination of additional transportation, including private transfers and outside vendors when needed
• Special occasion planning for birthdays, honeymoons, anniversaries, celebrations, and other memorable moments
• Assistance communicating special requests such as room preferences, dietary needs, accessibility needs, and celebration details to applicable travel suppliers
• Additional personalized coordination based on the needs and complexity of your trip
• Enhanced pre-travel support to help ensure the details are organized before departure
Please Note: Signature™ Planning starts at $150. Your final planning fee is based on the complexity of your trip, number of travelers, destinations, length of travel, and level of coordination requested. Any additional costs charged by hotels, transportation providers, excursion companies, restaurants, or other third-party suppliers are separate from your Signature™ Planning fee.

Additional Coordination - Starting at $50

Best for travelers who decide they would like additional assistance beyond the original scope of their Professional Vacation Planning service, without upgrading to the full Melissa Simon Signature™ Planning experience.
Additional coordination may include:
• Additional reservations or travel arrangements not included in the original planning request
• Special occasion or hotel/resort arrangements
• Additional itinerary development or customization
• Coordination with transportation companies, excursion providers, or other outside vendors
• Additional research or planning requested after the original trip proposal has been completed
• Other personalized travel coordination requested after booking
Please Note: Additional Coordination starts at $50 and is priced based on the type, complexity, and amount of additional assistance requested. If your needs become more extensive, upgrading to Melissa Simon Signature™ Planning may be recommended.
Any costs charged by hotels, transportation companies, excursion providers, or other third-party suppliers are separate from the coordination fee.
Additional Coordination fees are non-refundable and are separate from the cost of your vacation.
