The hottest months are generally June, July, and August, with daily average temperatures around 32° C (90° C), while cooler temperatures normally don’t fall below 18-20° C (mid-to-high 60s° F). Summer and early fall may see more rain showers, though they are typically short in duration. The months with potential for increased rain showers include June, July, August, September, October, and November.
Dry Season
During the Dry Season in the Bahamas, the weather is cooler and less humid. This season includes the months of December, January, February, March, April, and May. The temperatures during these months can be as low as the 60s, this is rare but does happen. Bright-colored loose airy clothing is the recommended daytime wear. A light sweater or jacket should be part of your travel gear during the Dry Season.
Wet Season
The Wet Season climate is subtropical with average temperatures ranging between 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This season includes the months of June, July, August, September, October, and November. During this season, brief heavy showers are common. We call that Liquid Sunshine.
