■ Arenal Springs Resort Each room has been designed to provide incredible direct views of the majestic Arenal Volcano, and each terrace is surrounded by tropical gardens where countless birds and butterflies play. All of our rooms, in addition to our restaurants, pools, hot springs, and common areas have been designed to take into account the special needs of disabled people and are wheelchair accessible. Our hot springs have been created to give you the feeling that you are in a natural thermal river in the middle of the rainforest. Tropical gardens surround the river to add to the sensation. The floor of the pools is made from limestone which adds to the soothing atmosphere. The light color allows you to see your feet and verify the cleanliness of the waters.

|||
■ Night Walk Discover the mysterious life of nocturnal animals! Join us for this adventure as we learn about the incredible adaptations of these creatures in a lightless world. Nectar-eating bats use their echolocation system to search for flowers with nectar even in the absence of light. Some flowers only open their petals at night, with the bat being its most important pollinator. This example of a symbiotic reproduction-food relationship is part of the magic that can be observed on a night tour. Like the bat, much of the biodiversity of the rainforest has nocturnal habits. Their adaptations have allowed them to survive in a world without light, obtaining advantages over their competition for food-gathering, and protecting them from their light-dependent predators. Frogs with charming sounds and colors, sloths, insects, and even snakes can be enjoyed at this wonderful rainforest night party. |
