5/1: Arrive in Istanbul.
5/2-6: Explore the incredible highlights of Istanbul: its resplendent houses of worship, such as the Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Sulemaniye Mosque, and the Greek Orthodox patriarchal church, St. Stephen; charming neighborhoods with a Jewish history; the shopping meccas of the Spice Bazaar and Grand Bazaar; Topkapi palace, with its famous harem and historic treasures; also on the palace grounds is Hagia Irene, the oldest church structure in the city, where the Hagia Irene council solidified the Trinitarian doctrine of the Christian God in 381A.D.; and the spectacular Basilica Cistern, which words cannot adequately describe.
5/6-8: Based at a charming “cave hotel” in Cappadocia, visit the early Christian underground city of Ozkonak, the ancient Roman city of Sobessos, the eerie natural structures of the Pasabag and Pigeon Valleys, and more; plus, optional hot air balloon ride at sunrise.
5/8-12: Our next stop will be the coastal port city of Izmir, where we will start with a free afternoon. This region is home to several of the Seven Churches of the Revelation, as well as theVirgin Mary’s home in Ephesus. We will also visit the mountaintop city of Pergamum, where parchment paper was invented, and Asclepion, an important healing temple from ancient Greece.
5/12-13: The ethereal landscape of Pamukkale (“Cotton Palace”) boasts stunning geothermal terraces, petrified waterfalls, and mineral forests. Sights include several more of the Revelation churches, as well as the ancient Greek and Roman spa city of Hierapolis.
5/13-15 Return to Istanbul the evening of the 13th. Our last full day includes a Bosphorus cruise in the morning and festive farewell dinner.
5/15: Departure
• Daily breakfast is included, along with at least three lunches and two dinners.
• International airfare is not included; however, domestic flights within Turkey (which are part of the itinerary) are included.
• Group airport transfers for designated official international arrival and departure flights are included.
• Gratuities for drivers and local tour guides are included.
• Please do not purchase plane tickets until notification that the trip has reached its minimum and you have been advised of designated official flights.
• Participants should be accustomed to moderate physical activity. Please discuss any mobility concerns in advance, as this trip may not be right for you.
• Final hotel arrangements are subject to change, due to group size, special needs, availability, or configuration limits.
• Participants must complete or update a client profile and travel services agreement for each trip at the time of booking.
• Daily itinerary is tentative and subject to change based on availability and local conditions.

• Participants are responsible for obtaining and presenting proper travel documents.
• Currency exchange rates may affect final package price.
