TERMS AND CONDITIONS SUMMARY
1. Travel Services Agreement: When you retain MV to help plan your travel, you are hiring a professional travel advisor to ensure that your trip is tailored to your interests, your travel style, and your budget. You get the benefit of our skill, experience, and training; our professional relationships; and our industry connections. Our fees cover consultation, research, recommendations, preparation of itineraries, booking and reservations for each element of the trip as requested, advice on the trip, the administration of your booking from start to finish, and follow-up as needed.
Mon Voyage will provide your credit card information to third party suppliers as needed and you agree that Mon Voyage is authorized to do so in order to confirm any bookings you select for your trip which may require advance payments, deposits, or credit card guarantees.
2. Fee structure: Mon Voyage currently bills clients at an hourly rate of $50 for trips initiated at least 120 days in advance. "Skip the line" planning is subject to higher rates: $60/hr for trips initiated 91 to 119 days in advance; $75/hr for trips initiated 61 to 90 days in advance; $100/hr for trips initiated fewer than 61 days in advance. For peak holiday periods or special events (such as Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, Mardi Gras/Carnival, or any other peak demand event in any destination), fees are $100/hr for any trip initiated fewer than 90 days before travel date.
For Small Group Trips, fees are included in package pricing. If you are engaging Mon Voyage for booking and planning any elements outside of or in addition to the package offered, this work may be subject to fees.
In addition, first-time clients may be required to make a $200 deposit toward hourly charges related to private (FIT) trip planning. Mon Voyage accepts ACH transfers (with a fee charged by the payment processor) or checks as payment.
3. Travel Insurance Recommendation: Emergencies can happen anytime and anywhere. MV highly recommends that every client purchase appropriate travel insurance to protect their vacation investment. Refunds may be very difficult to obtain due to supplier policy; travel insurance may help cover losses of many kinds, such as supplier bankruptcy, medical emergencies, transportation delays, lost luggage, and more. Note also that certain coverage categories, such as Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) policies or pre-existing conditions coverage, may only be available within a short time frame (days or weeks) after your first payment toward a trip. Mon Voyage recommends SquareMouth for shopping and purchasing travel insurance policies. 4. If delayed or quarantined, any assistance required by us beyond your travel program dates will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
5. Mon Voyage accepts payment by personal check or ACH/bank transfer.
In the case of ACH/bank transfer, I authorize Mon Voyage LLC to charge the bank account indicated on this invoice for the noted amount. This payment is for the services described on the invoice. I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card or bank account and that I will not dispute the payment with my credit card company or bank, so long as the transaction corresponds to the terms indicated on this invoice. I understand that returns, refunds, and cancellations are at the discretion of Mon Voyage LLC. I understand that all payments made to Mon Voyage LLC are considered non-refundable. For group trips, any potentially available refund may be subject to additional restrictions mentioned in the brochure.
