The Destination
Punta Cana is a tropical paradise nestled in the easternmost region of the Dominican Republic. The island offers some of the bluest water and most pristine beaches in the world, and is one of the most popular island destinations for tourists. Made for jet setters and sun seekers, Punta Cana is the ultimate beachfront playground. Friendly locals will welcome you upon your arrival and help you to feel right at home as you enjoy your stay.
The Resort
The Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa, located in Uvero Alto, is one of the island’s most popular properties, and is centered around guest comfort and enjoyment. Nestled on a private section of the island, the resort is ringed by swaying palms and a seemingly endless beach. The sprawling resort boasts 820 suites, in which 320 are family-friendly, with connecting rooms and two-bedroom suites for large families.
The resort’s theme is “Unlimited Luxury,” and that is exactly what you will find here. The resort features a variety of entertainment outlets, including the Explorer’s Club for kids 3-12, and the Core Zone teen’s club for kids 13-17. Core Zone features a rock climbing wall, basketball court and pool table for their enjoyment.
If you love dining, you will be delighted to find that there are more than a dozen restaurants, offering a range of cuisine from steakhouses, to Asian, Mediterranean and French cuisine. The buffets are the place to go for all-day dining, and the all-inclusive experience means you never have to worry about opening your wallet. Entertainment
There is plenty to do during your stay. Enjoy tennis, volleyball, paddle ball and nearby golf under the Caribbean sun, or make a splash in one of six pools including an infinity pool, salt-water pool, adults-only pool and swim-up bar. The lazy river is a guest favorite, and the kids love the jungle waterpark with water slides. You can also enjoy non-motorized water sports like paddleboarding and boating.

ITINERARY
DAY 1:
Welcome to the Dominican Republic! Your shuttle will be waiting for you at the airport to transport you to the resort. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for colorful birds, swaying palms and one of the most scenic welcomes you will ever experience.
When you arrive at the resort, get settled in. Tonight will be an exciting one as you meet your new travel companions and enjoy a welcome dinner tonight at 7:30. Rest up because tomorrow will be a full day!
DAY 2:
As an optional excursion (not included in cost) today we will explore other nearby resorts on a full day of exciting activities. During the shuttle bus ride, take in scenic views of the Caribbean coast. Upon arrival, discover colorful coral and dazzling marine life while snorkeling, enjoy a choreographed dance show and experience the warm waters of a natural pool in the middle of the ocean. The excursion will also offer an open bar with local and international drinks, tropical fruits and appetizers.
After a morning of relaxation, we enjoy an adrenaline-filled, heart-pumping buggy ride through the remote farmland of Northern Punta Cana. This ride will take us past tobacco plantations with breathtaking views of the Oriental Mountain range off in the distance. Prepare to get dirty as we wind through narrow and secluded country roads for the adventure of a lifetime.
Day 3:
Free day! Wake up early and watch the sunrise over the beach or sleep in and enjoy a late brunch. It’s totally up to you. Today we invite families to explore the resort on their own, enjoying the pools, beach and various activities around the property. We’ll meet up at the pool for some fun group activities. (Time and location TBA)
Day 4:
Today is our second full day at the resort. The Onyx offers the Relax Spa by Pavonia, so if you want a facial or a massage on the beach, this is the day to do it. The kids will love splashing in the pool, and if you want to venture outside of the resort and see more of the island, the on-site concierge will help you. Dress all in yellow and white and join us this evening for the farewell dinner and group photo. Here you will wish your new friends farewell and vow to meet up again with them on next year’s trip.
Day 5:
Like all good things, this trip has come to an end. Check out is at 11 a.m., so be ready to board your shuttle for the ride back to the airport. We will be on hand to assist you if you need help with luggage or preparing for your flight.
