F.A.Q:

Q: What's "Drinking Around the World" at EPCOT?

A. It's a popular, unofficial EPCOT tradition where guests sample an adult drink from each of the 11 country pavilions in the World Showcase. It's a gastronomic and cultural journey, with unique drinks celebrating the history of each nation.

Q: What are the rules?

A. Disney emphasizes responsible drinking. Guests must be 21 or older to purchase alcohol, and valid ID is required. Some pavilions have implemented drink limits or time restrictions during peak hours to ensure guest safety and enjoyment.

Q: What are the must-try drinks in each pavilion?

A. Here are some standout options:

* Mexico: La Cava Avocado Margarita at La Cava del Tequila.

* Norway: Viking Coffee at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe.

* China: Canto Loopy at Joy of Tea.

* Germany: Schöfferhofer Grapefruit Hefeweizen at Bier Stand.

* Italy: Peach Bellini at Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar.

* American Adventure: Frozen Mint Julep at Regal Eagle Smokehouse.

* Japan: Violet Sake at Kabuki Café.

* Morocco: Iced Mint Tea with Gin at Spice Road Table.

* France: Grand Marnier Orange Slush at Les Vins des Chefs de France.

* United Kingdom: Black Velvet (Guinness & Cider mix) at Rose & Crown Pub.

* Canada: Ottawa Apple at Popcorn Cart.

Q: How much does it cost to drink around the world?

A. Prices vary depending on drink and establishment, but on average:

* Beer/Cider: $10.50 – $12.00

* Wine/Sake: $9.75 – $16.00

* Cocktails: $14.00 – $16.50

The total experience can cost between $120 to $150, not including souvenirs and food.

Q: When’s the best time to start the tour?

A. Early afternoon is best. It gives you plenty of time to take your time, soak up the atmosphere, and steer clear of the crowds that gather in the evening. Beginning in Mexico and going clockwise is trendy, but some like to begin in Canada to end with the more potent cocktails in Mexico.
