Partnering with Windstar Cruise Line, our unique watercolor workshop cruise itineraries take you to charming villages, pristine beaches, and historic cities, offering the opportunity to plein air paint sessions in beautiful locations supplemented with classroom-style instruction onboard.

From the pastel-hues of the Amalfi Coast to the islands of Sicily and Elba, and the historic coastal gems of Croatia, you'll capture the beauty of the Mediterranean with a brush in hand. Explore hidden harbors and small ports, while still taking in the remarkable history of cities like Rome, Venice, Dubrovnik and more.

Deposit & Final Payment:

To secure your spot on the workshop, the deposit is split into two parts:
  1. Workshop Fee: This initial payment reserves your space in the workshop. This is taken today to secure your space onboard.
  2. Cruise Deposit: Once you've completed the registration form, we’ll send you a direct link from Windstar to secure your cruise booking and select any excursions. This will be 15% of your base cruise fare + excursions, all deducted from the total costs listed below and tracked via invoices for your convenience.
 
Why two parts? This approach avoids unnecessary credit card fees, offers better price transparency, and allows you to manage all remaining payments directly through the Windstar portal at your convenience—whether you prefer to pay in full or in installments.
 
Final payment deadlines will be outlined in your Windstar booking confirmation.

About The Cruise Line

Their flagship vessel and our home for the Mediterranean Watercolor Workshop is the Wind Surf, an elegant sailing vessel with 171 outward-facing staterooms (starting at 188 sq. ft.), all featuring windows for ocean views. With a capacity of 342 guests, it provides an intimate, luxurious atmosphere perfect for artists seeking inspiration. Onboard, we’ll have dedicated classroom sessions, offering creative space to capture the stunning surroundings.  About The Watercolor Workshop

Watercolor workshops will be half-day sessions, for up to four hours per day. Instruction will take place both onboard in a dedicated classroom space and off-board, where we'll have the opportunity to paint en plein air with the instructor in port. These workshops are designed to compliment the travel experience, not take over the day--there 

instruction during the guided excursions, as our sessions will be scheduled afterward.

A deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit is fully refundable until 180 days before the trip start date, with a $150 processing fee deducted from the refund upon cancellation.

This fee covers participation in the onboard and on-location watercolor workshop and includes:

  • Daily instruction and guidance from the artist

  • All planning and logistical coordination

  • Required local permits and painting licenses in ports and cities

  • Support staff and on-site coordination throughout the workshop

  • Access to designated painting areas, both onboard and ashore

This ensures a seamless, fully-supported painting experience in every destination.
