As we cruise and explore the breathtaking Adriatic coastline and islands, we will be captivated by azure and emerald hues. CABINS
MAIN DECK cabins are situated on the main deck and have a large window.
LOWER DECK cabins are situated in the hull of the vessel, below the main deck, and have portholes.
Cabins are allocated according to the time of booking and special requests made at the time of reservation. Cabins hold two guests. Beds can be put together or separated.
All cabins are en-suite and air-conditioned, supplied with a hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and towels; bathroom towels and a beach towel are provided, as well as daily cabin upkeep. Bed linen is changed once during the week.

ADDITIONAL EXPENSES:
Airfare - Can be booked starting about 10 months prior to the cruise. You can book your own air or Jill the Travel Gal can book it for a small booking fee. The cost will depend on the class of service.
Excursions - There are several walking tours included with the cost of the cruise. Any additional excursion will be on your own. Jill the Travel Gal will help you with recommendations.
Dinner - Breakfast and lunch are included daily, along with 2 dinners during the week. The other evenings we will be in port and can dine in town.
Alcoholic beverages - The cruise does not include alcoholic beverages in the price. Drinks are reasonably priced. (5-10 euros) You will pay your tab at the end of the cruise.
Transfers - You will need transfers from the airport to the hotel, the hotel to the cruise port, cruise port to the airport. Jill the Travel Gal will help with these transfers.
Hotels - The cruise starts in Opatija and ends in Split. You need to fly in at least one-day pre-cruise. You can fly home the day the cruise ends. Another option is to stay in Split an additional night to visit Krka National Park.
Travel Protection - Insurance is strongly recommended as you just never know what could happen on or before your trip. Jill the Travel Gal will help with purchasing a package.
Passports - Your passport must be valid for 6 months after the end of the cruise.
Currency - Croatia is part of the EU and uses euros as its currency. Most major credit cards will be accepted; AmEx is not commonly accepted in Europe.
TIPS
Tips should reflect good service and a guest’s satisfaction with the guide/cruise manager, crew and overall tour.
Crew gratuities are equally distributed among the crew.
Tipping suggestions per person:
Cruise Manager: € 35 - 50 per person per week
Crew (all vessel services and assistance with luggage): € 70 - 100 per guest per week
Local guide (there may be many guides along a tour program): € 1-2 per tour
Restaurants & Cafes: If not included, tip 10% -15% of the check, depending on the quality of service
Taxis: Tip up to 10% of the fare – we suggest booking taxis via the tour/cruise manager
Tipping is voluntary and completely at the discretion of the individual passengers.
CUISINE
The cuisine on board is a combination of Mediterranean and international cuisine, with traditional Croatian dishes, and includes seafood typical of the region. Katarina Line kindly asks guests to provide information on any dietary requirements well in advance to enable the chef to accommodate these dietary needs. If this has not been done, please contact Katarina Line immediately to have this organized.
WIFI
The ship has free WI-FI, though not always as speedy and stable as on land since the connections are via satellite.
ELECTRIC
Everywhere in Croatia, standard European sockets are used (Type F) - 2 pins, grounded, 16 A, 220 V. Socket is compatible with plug types C, E & F.
WATER
Katarina Line does not recommend drinking tap water on board. There is a complimentary water dispenser with reusable glasses. Feel free to bring your own refillable water bottle to use during the holiday. Please, however, use water on board rationally.

PAYMENT INFORMATION
An initial deposit of 300 euros per person NON-REFUNDABLE (about $330) is due upon booking.
Those who book first will get first dibs on cabins.
A second payment of 1,000 euros per cabin due 30 days later.
A third payment of 1,000 euros per cabin due January 28, 2025.
