This trip is taking place on Thursday, July 4th, 2024- Monday, July 8th, 2024.
Essence Music Festival is the event that “Parties With a Purpose“. It draws over 600,000 festival-goers a year to New Orleans, LA and is the largest African American festival in the country. The annual music festival which started in 1995 as a one-time event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Essence, a magazine aimed primarily towards African-American women. It became the largest African-American culture and music event in the United States.
Hotel Accommodations
Welcome to Holiday Inn New Orleans-Downtown Superdome
Located in the Birthplace of Jazz and just steps from the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Arena, and French Quarter. We are also ideally located next to the booming Biomedical district, including University Medical Center, VA Hospital, Tulane Hospital, and LSU Health Sciences Center. Take a carriage ride to Frenchmen Street where you can listen to live jazz till the wee hours of the morning. Then just follow the Clarinet home to the Holiday Inn Downtown Superdome.
QUEEN ROOM 
Due to contractual obligations with the hotel all payments that are received will be non-refundable and non-transferable.
Select how many people will be staying in your room. (Double Queen sleeps up to 4 people max). Price is based per person.
You have the option of paying balance in full or you can pay a non-refundable deposit starting at $80.20 per person (depending on the room category. Your Deposit Locks in your Price and - Monthly payments are required to keep the booking active. The Final Balance is due by May 10, 2024.

Your RSVP and nonrefundable deposit fee starting at $80.20 per person (depending on the room category) will confirm your attendance. This fee will be credited to your account and a deposit will be made on your hotel room reservation.
ALL ROOMMATES MUST RSVP AND PAY DEPOSIT AT THE SAME TIME.
Monthly Payment Arrangements will be confirmed once deposit is made.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 10, 2024
Payment plan: $80.20pp for a Quad Room with 4 Guests, $98.55pp for a Triple Room for 3 Guests, $123.70pp for a Double Room for 2 Guests and $222.40pp for a single room (starting deposit rate based on room category) initial deposit per person, then a $50.00 or more monthly payments due between the 1st and 15th of every month.
Final payment is due May 10, 2024.
Group Registration: One member of the group must fill out the registration form based on how many people are in the room and acknowledge the Terms & Conditions.
The group member who completed the registration form will pay his or her first deposit to secure the travel package. Next, all other group members will receive an email with an invitation link so they can register and make their initial deposit. If an email is not seen in your GROUP MEMBER within 30 minutes, have them check their spam/junk folder and mark the email as "Not Spam or Not Junk"
It is extremely important for the group leader to complete the registration form and list everyone's email address and phone number accurately for database purposes.
NOTE:
1. You can only register a name or an email address once.
2. Please refrain from using a Work, AOL, or an ICloud email which have high filters set in place.
To secure your registered travel package, the remaining group members have 48 hours to make their initial deposit. If a group member does not make his or her deposit within 48 hours time frame, the package price will reflect the occupancy of all roommates who have paid a deposit.
Example: (If the group leader registered 4 members, and only 3 members make their deposit, the package price will reflect a Triple Occupancy).
