Day 1:  Dublin - City & Distillery
 
  • 2:00 PM: Departure from D
  • Panoramic Dublin tour including O'Connell Street, Georgian buildings, and St Stephen's Green.

 

  • Visit to Pearse Lyons Distillery in the Liberties.

 

  • Welcome drink at the hotel.

 

Day 2:  Athlone & Galway
 
  • Travel to Galway with a stop at Sean's Bar in Athlone (Europe's oldest pub, dating back to 900 AD).

 

  • Guided walking tour of Galway's medieval lanes.

 

  • Group dinner at the hotel. (B, D)

 

Day 3:  Connemara & Kylemore Abbey
 
  • Explore Connemara's granite hills and peat bogs.

 

  • Catamaran cruise of Killary Harbour (9-mile fjord).

 

  • Tour Kylemore Abbey and its Victorian Walled Gardens.

 

  • Free evening in Galway. (B)
 
Day 4:  Cliffs of Moher & Killarney
 
  • Travel around Galway Bay through the Burren.

 

  • Sheepdog demonstration.

 

  • Visit the Cliffs of Moher (700 feet above the Atlantic).

 

  • Ferry across the Shannon Estuary to Killarney.

 

  • Dinner and traditional music show at Kate Kearney's Cottage. (B, D)

 

Day 5:  Ring of Kerry & Kenmare
 
  • Horse-drawn jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park to Ross Castle.

 

  • Scenic drive along the Ring of Kerry.

 

  • Visit Moriarty's in Gap of Dunloe.

 

  • Explore Kenmare village with its craft shops and galleries.

 

  • Free evening in Killarney. (B)

 

Day 6:  Blarney Castle & Waterford
 
  • Visit Blarney Castle to kiss the Stone of Eloquence.

 

  • Traditional music session at the Marine Bar in Dungarvan.

 

  • Guided walking tour of Waterford (Ireland's oldest city).

Day 7:  Waterford Crystal & Kilkenny
 
  • Guided factory tour at the House of Waterford Crystal.

 

  • Free time in medieval Kilkenny, including a tour of Kilkenny Castle, showcasing 17th-century tapestries and Butler family furnishings.

 

  • Dinner with wine at One Ballsbridge in Dublin. (B, D)

 

Day 8:  Dublin - Independent Exploration
 
  • Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour for independent exploration of Dublin's sights.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations or traveler-requested changes will incur a $75 cancelation/ change fee per person, payable to Relaxed Escapes plus applicable CIE cancellation fees.
 
Prior to 07/28/2027   Relaxed Escapes Fee of $75 plus $250 pp non-refundable CIE deposit
Between 65 and 16 days before departure   Relaxed Escapes Fee of $75 plus 30% of total price
Between 15 and 8 days before departure   Relaxed Escapes Fee of $75 plus 50% of total price
Between 7 and 1 day before departure   Relaxed Escapes Fee of $75 plus 90% of total price
Day of departure   100% per person

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL:

 

A valid passport with an expiration date that is at least 6 months beyond the end date of this trip is required (i.e. have an expiration of Mar 1, 2025 or beyond).

 

A new European Union ETIAS Travel authorization for visa-exempt travelers to enter Europe will be required.  You can apply beginning in the fall of 2026. 

 

Travelers planning overseas trips are responsible for knowing the rules for entering the countries they want to visit.  A good source of up-to-date information about passport validity is the U.S. Department of State's travel website (travel.state.gov), which lists entry requirements by country.  Would-be travelers should also consult the Portugal embassy websites.


RESPONSIBLITY:

Relaxed Escapes Travel Consultants, LLC (Relaxed Escapes) will not be responsible for any damages or inconvenience caused by late arrivals, departures and change of schedule or other conditions nor will they be responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time the passenger is not on board their conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airline concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and the purchaser of this tour/cruise, and/or passenger. Relaxed Escapes does not hold any responsibility for the conduct of any hotel, motor coach, cruise line, train, airline or other personnel.  Relaxed Escapes reserves the right to decline, accept or retain any person as a member of a tour/cruise at its discretion.  CIE and /or its Tour Director retain the right to require any participant to withdraw from a tour/cruise at any time, if determined to be in the best interests of health, safety & general welfare of the tour/cruise group or of the individual participant. Arbitration- I/We agree, any and all disputes concerning this contract or any other material concerning the trip, or the trip itself must be resolved exclusively pursuant to binding arbitration in the state of California, pursuant to the then current rules of the American Arbitration Association. Payment of the deposit for this tour/cruise constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
