SHIP DETAILS - AmaMagna
Built in 2019, this 196 passenger ship with only 98 spacious staterooms, was imagined by AmaWaterways’ Co-Founder, Co-Owner and President Rudi Schreiner, the “Godfather of River Cruising." The AmaMagna is twice the width of traditional European river ships and offers more personal space, more unique dining venues and more leisure opportunities, redefining the river cruise experience! Most accommodations are spacious suites measuring 355 to 710 sq. ft. with full balconies. Both a sun-deck pool and whirlpool invite guests to refresh and enjoy the views. AmaMagna’s Zen Wellness Studio is an expansive space with a fitness center, two massage rooms and a refreshing juice bar.

Foodies will delight on the AmaMagna as it introduces two enticing new dining venues: Jimmy’s, a family-style restaurant named for AmaWaterways’ late Co-Owner Jimmy Murphy, and the Al Fresco Restaurant, with retractable windows and outdoor seating. In addition, there is also the main restaurant and The Chef’s Table specialty restaurant — the only venue of its kind on the rivers. There, guests are treated to a multi-course tasting menu. Your evening at the Chef's Table will be a favorite memory while on-board the ship. Daily, each venue serves locally-sourced ingredients and beautifully plated by an expert chef. PRE & POST PRICING
CANCELLATION POLICY
Payments are nonrefundable. However, under Force Majeure, if the ship cannot sail, monies paid for the cruise portion only will be refunded. In the instance the sailing has already commenced, a pro rata refund will be provided. Additionally, travel insurance will be offered and strongly recommended.
- #1 - Cancel for ANY Reason (CFAR)
- Premium insurance that provides 75% reimbursement on non-refundable expenses if you cancel for ANY non-covered reason or 100% if you cancel for a covered reason. Plus, it provides pre-existing medical condition coverage. You can add Interrupt for ANY Reason (IFAR) too and get 75% reimbursement on non-refundable expenses for any reason you may need to leave your trip early. This policy type must be purchased within 21 days of your first trip payment.
- #2 - Cancel for a COVERED Reason
- A standard insurance policy that will provide 100% reimbursement for a covered reason in the policy (of which there are many). No pre-existing medical condition coverage if purchased after 2 or 3 weeks after initial trip deposit (depends on policy type).
- #3 - Primarily medical reimbursement and medical evacuation coverage with some travel inconvenience coverages
- If reimbursement of expenses is not a concern, then this type of policy provides the necessary coverage for medical coverage reimbursement and medical evacuation, if needed. Plus, it provides some other travel inconveniences coverages.
REQUIREMENTS OF SAILING
COVID-19 - AmaWaterways is not requiring proof of Covid-19 vaccination to board their ships. All guests traveling with AmaWaterways remain responsible for ensuring they meet the travel entry requirements for each country they plan to visit before, during or after their river cruise. These requirements, as mandated by airlines and individual countries or regions, may change without notice and cancellation fees will apply should guests no longer meet the country entry requirements for their cruise or land program. Please refer to the Travel Entry Requirements section of AmaWaterways.com for the latest details. Journeys That Fit will assist in understanding requirements for our sailing. Currently, there are NO vaccination requirements for any part of our sailing.

For the safety of all passengers, by registering for this sailing, you acknowledge that your luggage and possessions are subject to security inspection at any and all times.

HOW TO REGISTER
Are you ready to discover the world and meet some FUN people along the way? You'll be amazed by how quickly and effortlessly you connect with your fellow travelers as you cruise. Registration is easy. Just follow these steps, and we'll reserve your place of the exciting cruise!
Step 1: View the cabin package options listed in the Available Packages section below for cabin size and pricing. Click on the 'Book Now' button to review additional information without commitment. (Note: cabins based on availability at time of booking and will be confirmed AFTER your selection is submitted)
Step 2: Consider the Pre and Post land and Golf Packages too. Sign up at registration to secure your spot OR you may register no later than early 2023, subject to availability.
Step 3: Indicate the number of travelers in your cabin (1 or 2), then select cabin category and enter each traveler's contact information.
Step 4: Review your selection and associated pricing, enter your credit card details, approve the terms, and electronically sign the credit card authorization form. This is just an authorization and payment will be charged after the cabin category is confirmed and you are informed.
AFTER REGISTRATION
We will email a questionnaire to collect additional needed information for this exciting sailing, and then charge your credit card for the deposit. After the deposit is paid, we will confirm your travel insurance preference and assist you with purchasing that too.
