We are so excited to share our upcoming wedding with you at Dreams Playa Mujeres in gorgeous Quintana Roo, Mexico. Your presence at our wedding means the world to us. We have set up a wedding room block with the resort, specific to our group, and the team at Breeze Wonderful Travels will be assisting all our guests in reserving your rooms for our wedding on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025. Trip Deposit & Payment Schedule
In order to create a smooth RSVP process, all guests are asked to adhere to the following payment schedule to secure your reservation.
Your payments will be processed immediately to book your reservation and you will receive an invoice confirmation within three business days.
Your deposit of $325 per person to confirm your reservation is non-refundable.
Friday, February 21st 2025, is the deadline to make your initial deposit and get an available room in the room block. Any reservations after that date are subject to availability and contracted rates are not guaranteed.

Third Deposit:Tuesday, April 15, 2025
Final payment for your trip is due by Thursday, May 15th 2025 (The resort has the right to cancel the reservation if payment is not made by this date).
Children older than 12 years of age are charged the adult accommodation rate.
Additional payments towards your balance can be made at by contacting your dedicated reservation specialist before the final payment is due.
You are responsible for booking your own flights and we need your flight info by June 13th 2025 to give to the resort so they know what time you will arrive. A link to your flight information form will be sent to you via email after your room reservation is confirmed.
Your arrival airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN)
The final payment is required by May 15, 2025, to ensure all arrangements are finalized ahead of the big day. There is a 3-night minimum for this room block but you have the option to arrive early or stay later. You can select your dates when you fill out the reservation form.
VERY IMPORTANT:Any requests for early arrival and extended departures outside of the contracted room block dates listed above will be subject to availability and rate approval by the resort and may be non-refundable. If your reservation is impacted by date availability and a difference in contracted rates, we will communicate this information to the guest before any confirmation or charges are made for extra nights outside the room block.

What is the weather like in the area?
Cancun weather in August is hot and humid with a chance of rain.. (wedding events typically will take place around sunset when its cooler outside)
(Hurricane season in Cancun spans June to November and fortunately, hurricanes are rare there because the area has seen only two in the past 30 years.)

Can I smoke/vape in Mexico?
Mexico has banned smoking in all public places effective January 2023. Some of the places tourists can no longer smoke in include beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. If you are caught smoking in public, you may be fined. Some resorts have designated outdoor smoking areas for smokers. Electronic or vaping devices and solutions are illegal in Mexico. People who are caught with these items may have them confiscated and may also be fined or detained. If you have any questions about smoking or vaping please reach out to the hotel.
Do I need to take electrical converters? No. (Mexico has the same electrical outlets as we do in the U.S)
Room Reservations
When I complete the reservation form and submit my payment information will I be charged immediately?
Yes. Your payments will be processed immediately and you will receive a receipt of payment via email. Your confirmation invoice will be sent to you within three business days.
Can I make additional payments before the final payment date?
Yes. You can make additional payments yes via the payment link sent via email.
Can my roommate(s) pay for their portion of the room on a separate card or does it have to be all on one card? No. To confirm your reservation you will have to use one credit card.
Can I add someone else to my room after I’ve made my reservation?
Yes, you can add a person to your confirmed reservation before June 13th 2025 as long as it doesn’t go above the room occupancy limit (fees will apply)
All you need to do is send your dedicated reservation specialist the following information.

The other person in my room can’t make it. Can I switch them with someone else?
Yes. Just send your dedicated reservation specialist an email with the name of the guest to be removed from the reservation along with the following information for the new guest taking their place. (fees will apply)

Once we have this information we’ll make the adjustment.
I can’t make it to the wedding and need to cancel my reservation. What do I do now?
First, send us an email (we have to have it in writing) letting us know you need to cancel your reservation. If you purchased the travel insurance and have to cancel you will be refunded the amount according to the travel insurance guidelines once you submit your claim, but you are still responsible for the $100 per person cancellation fee. If you did not purchase the travel insurance, you may still be responsible for additional fees above and beyond the $100 per person cancellation fee which could possibly include the full amount of the room reservation.
Will everyone in our group have rooms next to each other?
No, not necessarily. This will depend on a few factors like the type of room category each person books since each room category could be in different areas of the resort and how full the resort is at the time of the event.
Can I request a room next to someone else?
When you make your reservation, you can send the request to us in the “Additional Information” section at the bottom of the reservation form and we will pass it along to the resort. They will do whatever they can to honor your request, but it is not guaranteed.

FYI, not purchasing travel insurance could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without travel insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred. The price of travel insurance IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.
Having travel insurance is definitely important and we recommend it for everyone. We personally buy it for our trips. However, the option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.

The Journey Planwith rates as low as $99 per adult with Kids free and PreEx Eligibility gives generous levels of trip cancellation and trip interruption protection. This plan also includes SmartBenefitsSM which can pay proactively and simplify the claims process with no receipts required. Plus, kids 17 and under are covered for free when traveling with a parent or grandparent. Under certain conditions, covered reasons for some benefits of this plan include epidemic or pandemic-related illness, individually-ordered quarantine, and denied boarding.
The Classic with Cancel Anytime Plan gives you the extra flexibility of knowing you can cancel your trip for almost any unforeseen reason that the Classic plan does not already cover at 100% and receive 80% of their non-refundable trip costs back. Americans With Disabilities Act
Since the hotel is not located in the United States, they’re not required to be in compliance with the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. The Hotel has a limited number of accessible guest rooms that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can request an accessible room for you but it’s never guaranteed. Also, public areas and restaurants at the Hotel are wheelchair accessible, just not wheelchair friendly. Although transportation is included, we find that the resort’s accessible shuttle is not always available or reliable. For this reason, we would advise all guests that are mobility challenged to arrange for private accessible round trip transportation for the best experience. Payment Processing
There is a service fee of 0.05% to confirm your reservation. (example: $325 x 0.05% = $341.25)
Cancellations
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from your reservation) by March 30th, 2025, your responsibility is a $100 per person cancellation fee.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) between March 31st, 2025 and May 14th, 2025, your responsibility will be 50% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 50% of the removed guest total. There is also a $100 per person cancellation fee. Also if you reduce the number of nights in your reservation, you will be responsible for 50% of the nights reduced. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
If you cancel your reservation (or remove a guest(s) from the reservation) or reduce the number of nights in your reservation on or after May 15th, 2025, your responsibility will be 100% of the room total in the case of full reservation cancellation or 100% of the removed guest total. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.
Any revisions or deviations made to a confirmed reservation is subject to a fee of USD $100 per room in addition to any other Supplier charges and penalties. No refunds will be given for any unused or partially used service(s). The cancellation of any service(s) made by you or anyone in your party while traveling, is not eligible for any refund whatsoever.
Reservation Modifications/ Changes
Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications/changes to your reservation on or after May 15th, 2025:
Downgrading a room category
Decreasing the number of nights in your reservation
Removing a guest from your reservation (reducing the occupancy level in your room)
Late Fees/Missed Payments
A late fee of $50 is applied to your reservation whenever a payment due date is missed. Late fees will be assessed immediately after the due date listed on the payment schedule and automatically added to the balance due for your trip. If you miss a payment deadline your reservation will be at risk of cancellation and you will be responsible for any cancellation fees.

The resort will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.
Breeze Wonderful Travels is not an agent of the Hotel and has no control over the refund policies and other rules mandated by the Hotel.
No Shows Failure to travel or show up for any reservation is considered a "no-show". No show penalties will be up to the entire cost of the reservation and are subject to policies and procedures set forth by us.
Travel Insurance Protection
If you do not purchase travel insurance and have to cancel your reservation, you may still have to pay for part or the full amount of your reservation. If you purchased the travel insurance and have to cancel you will be refunded by the travel insurance company according to the travel insurance guidelines, but you are still responsible for the cancellation fee. Once a reservation is booked there is a $100 per person cancellation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancellation. This cancellation fee cannot be reapplied to a later re-booking.
Cancellation is subject to vendor policy and will be included in with your payment confirmation.

Breeze Wonderful Travels does not have control over the rates the resort provides.

**Traveling with Babies Ages 2 and Younger At The Date of Check-In?
Ground transportation to the resort and back to the airport is included when you book your room reservation with Breeze Wonderful Travels.
Before securing your ground transportation:
You must have your flight information first. You will arrive at Cancun International Airport (CUN). This is where the transportation company that you book will pick you up.
A link to your flight information form will be sent to you via email after your room reservation is confirmation. Please complete this form by June 13th 2025. If your flight details are not submitted on time, you risk forfeiting your complementary ground transportation Amstar DMC and you will be responsible for arranging your own ground transportation to the resort and back to the airport.
Any updates to your flight info or any needed changes to the transfers after June 13th 2025 must be updated directly with Amstar DMC as Breeze Wonderful Travels will not have access to make any changes or updates.
You do not have to book your transportation through Amstar DMC. You are welcome to make arrangements with any transportation company you choose.
