Itinerary (subject to change):

10/31/2020 Day 1: Bangkok Arrival - Overnight in Bangkok for the next 3 nights.  Staying at the SIAM KEMPINSKI HOTEL in a Deluxe room

Bangkok is the capital and largest city in Thailand. Bangkok is a modern Asian metropolis whose inhabitants alternate gracefully between traditional and modern.  

11/1/2020 Day 2: Bangkok Sightseeing (B/L) and Loy Krathong Festival

Breakfast at the hotel and then group will be taken on a full day tour, hitting the highlights of Bangkok such as the City temples and also enjoy a Klong tour. Lunch is included today. 

Important: Please note that you are required to wear proper attire (no bare shoulder, bare knees or strapless-heel shoes). Shoes must be removed before entering all temple buildings.   


In evening: Enjoy Loy Krathong Festival at Asiatique Riverfront.

One of the most picturesque festivals in Bangkok is the evening of Loy Krathing, when people gather around lakes, rivers and canals to pay respect to the goddess of water by releasing beautiful lotus shaped rafts decorated with candles, incense and flowers into the water.
 - a krathong is included for each guest.

11/2/2020 Day 3:  Bangkok - Half Day Floating Market (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel and then group will be taken on a half day tour of the Floating Market with its many colors, flavors and exotic fragrances.  Afterwards, return to your hotel where you will have the afternoon and evening at leisure.

11/3/2020 Day 4: Bangkok - Phuket by Air.  Phuket for the next 4 nights.  Staying at the Renaissance Phuket Hotel in a Deluxe room (B)

Breakfast at the hotel and then group will check out and will be transferred back to the Bangkok Airport for their onward flight to Phuket.  Flight is included.  Upon arrival at Phuket Airport group will be greeted by a local guide and then will be transferred to the hotel for check in for the next four nights. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. 

Phuket, ‘the Pearl of the Andaman’, is Thailand’s largest island in Southern Thailand and is blessed with white powder beaches, broad bays and tropical inland forests making it one of Asia’s most popular beach destinations.  

11/4/2020 Day 5: Phuket at Leisure (B)

11/6/2020 Day 7: Phuket - Full Day Phi Phi by Speedboat (B/L)                                                                  Breakfast at the hotel and then group will be picked up for a Full Day Phi Phi Island by Speedboat, lunch is included. (JOIN in Speedboat, not private) In the morning, after being transferred to the pier, you will take a speedboat to reach Phi Phi islands. Available Sightseeing excursions on the islands include Loh Sa Mah and Phi Phi Ley cove as well as Maya Bay, where the 2000 film “The Beach” (starring Leonardo Di Caprio and Tilda Swinton) was filmed. A chance to observe the majestic undersea world is also available for guests who enjoy snorkeling. If  you are more an exploring type of person and Phi Phi’s natural beauty is not enough, there is plenty to do on and off the island. Phi Phi Ley is home to the Viking Cave, a large limestone cavern, where ancient rock paintings can be found. After lunch at a beachside restaurant, we will reach the Bamboo Island where you can enjoy some free time to swim and snorkel or simply lie and rest on the beach. The departure in the afternoon will be from Hin Klang Island. Upon arrival at the pier in Phuket, we will drive you back to your hotel. Overnight in Phuket.

11/7/2020 Day 8: Phuket Departure for return flight back home (B)

Cancellation policy:

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.  Wondering why?  Because Blissful Escapes,  Inc. has contractual obligations with tour conductors, vendors and the airline that will not allow refunds.  Travel insurance is not included in your package price, but it is highly recommended.  Each traveler will be provided with a link to purchase travel insurance or goggle travel insurance companies to find one to protect your investment.  It is the responsibility of the traveler to purchase travel insurance and Blissful Escapes, Inc.  assumes no risk or responsibility for your choice of travel insurance.  If you purchase travel insurance and need to cancel or file a claim you will contact the travel insurance company directly. 

Important items to consider:
- You must have a passport that is valid for at least six months beyond the dates of travel to be allowed entry into Thailand. 
-The group flight will depart from Chicago on 10/29/2020 (departure date will be confirmed as we get closer to the dates of travel) and arrive to Bangkok on 10/31/2020.  Check in at the hotel is on 10/31/2020.
- For those traveling from outside of Chicago.  You have to make it to Chicago and by this trip being during the winter months, I would highly suggest arriving in Chicago the day before we are scheduled to depart and stay at a hotel near the airport.  We can provide assistance with booking a hotel or provide suggestions.

WAIT...a few more important things I need you to read:
-Reservations MUST be made in your FULL NAME as it appears on your passport!!!
-Monthly payments are required to keep your reservation current.  Your invoice will note your payment plan schedule, so make sure you check it out!!! And make sure you check in on your roommate...are they making their payments???
-Half your balance must be paid by 12/15/19, if not your reservation will be cancelled
- if your payment is 60 days past due you will incur a non-refundable $25 late fee. 
- by submitting your deposit you are agreeing to the terms, conditions and policies
