Day 1 - Arrival Cape Town

Arrival in Cape Town International Airport. Cape Town is undeniably one of the most beautiful cities in the world. You will be met at arrivals and transferred to the hotel. You will see the city’s iconic symbol, Table Mountain greeting you in the distance. Tonight, discover some of Cape Town’s world class restaurants on your own. The rest of the day and evening is at your own leisure. Later that evening you will enjoy a local dinner at Cape Town restaurant.

Day 3 - Cape Town / Table Mountain & City Tour

Breakfast served at the hotel, you will be met at the hotel foyer for a full day Cape Point Tour (08:30-17:00).Enjoy your journey through The Cape of Good Hope within Table Mountain National Park is surrounded by a rich biodiversity and is home to at least 250 species of birds as well as antelope, ostrich, and baboons. Walk the rugged cliffs, or, take the famous Flying Dutchman funicular (return), a beacon for early explorers that climbs uphill to the old lighthouse. Afterwards, visit Boulders Beach to see the unique spectacle of penguins waddling freely, and walk-through spectacular Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Later back to hotel.

Day 4 - Cape Town / Optional Tour - Robben Island

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure or you can do an optional tour to Robben Island with an additional cost ($220 per person)

Robben Island: Runs as follows; 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. The ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V & A Waterfront. The tour takes 3.5 hours including the ferry trip to and from the Island (Depending on the boat used as they have different travel times). You will disembark at Murray’s Bay Harbour situated on the east coast of the Island and take a short walk to buses that will transport you to all the historical sites around the Island. On the way to the buses, you will pass buildings and a high wall built by prisoners during the 1960s. The buildings were used for family and lawyer visits to prisoners.

You will meet your Tour Guide when you have boarded the bus. The prison tour will be conducted by a Robben Island Tour Guide. This is part of our integrated tour model. They are fully conversant and knowledgeable about the Island’s multi-layered 500-year-old history. The tour route includes the graveyard of people who died from leprosy, the Lime Quarry, Robert Sobukwe’s house, the Bluestone quarry, the army and navy bunkers and the Maximum-Security Prison where thousands of South Africa’s freedom fighters were incarcerated for years. The tour culminates with a viewing of Nelson Mandela’s cell.

Day 5 - Cape town / Departure

After breakfast and check out you will be transferred to Port Elizabeth Airport for your onward flight.

U.S. citizens traveling to any destination outside of the United States will be required to present a valid U.S. passport. Passports must be valid for 6 months past the return date.  Some countries require a visa for transit or entry. This can be confirmed at visa HQ.  Traveler(s) is responsible for ensuring they have all the proper documents for transit or entry. All names on documents must match the legal name on your photo I.D., and travel document information must match transportation tickets.  Please check the State Department website for further information. Immunizations may also be required. Please check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Failure to comply with any of these regulations may result in denied boarding, denied entry, and/or government imposed fines.  If you are a citizen of another country, there may be additional requirements.  Check with the nearest consulate or embassy of the destination you are traveling to and find out the entry requirements for non-U.S. citizens.

Finally, U.S. Citizens should register all travels with the U.S. Embassy via the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).

6 days - 72 hours prior to arrival - 90% of the tour

30 Days

30 - 7 days prior to arrival - 75% of the Tour

60 Days

60 - 31 days prior to arrival - 40% of the Tour

Refunds:

In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.

No refund or reduction will be made to any member in respect of airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fare out not utilized by the tour member due to personal reasons.

Do U.S. Citizens need a visa and a passport to travel? Any other ID or documents needed to travel from the USA besides a passport?

Yes, a passport is always required for US Citizens to travel internationally. Apart from a Passport, no other ID is required.

What type of Visa is required to travel?

You do not require a visa. Greece is a party to the Schengen Agreement; therefore, U.S. citizens may enter Greece without a visa for stays of up to 90 days for tourism or business purposes. 

Do military or senior citizen discounts apply?

The prices are already discounted and further discounts are not available.

Can additional nights be purchased?

Yes, additional nights can be purchased. Pre or Post tour.
