Provides a full refund if you cancel for a medical reason, including getting Covid.  It also provides trip interruption, if you had to come home for an emergency then your costs associated with that or missed days of travel are reimbursed, and it also covers emergency medical evacuation, trip delays and lost or delayed luggage. You can cancel for a medical reason if you or anyone in your immediate family requires medical care or has an medical emergency that requires your attention (like parents/in-laws/kids). It is also your medical coverage while traveling in Europe.

It does not provide a refund if you are nervous about travel, have a personal or business conflict, or if covid rates rise or there are further restrictions (it excludes pandemic reasons, but contracting Covid is covered as a medical reason), or anything not named as a covered reason.
