SUN SAND SLOPE VACATIONS — GROUP TRIP PARTICIPATION TERMS
This document applies to participants signing up for SSS-hosted group trips. It works alongside, and does not replace, the SSS Travel Terms and any supplier terms.
1. About this trip This trip is a Sun Sand Slope-direct group trip. Sun Sand Slope Vacations LLC ("SSS") is the trip coordinator, packaging the trip directly and working with independent third-party suppliers — including but not limited to airlines, hotels, resorts, ground transportation, tour and activity operators — to deliver the experience described in the trip listing.
2. Booking structure SSS coordinates and packages this trip in its own capacity. Payment for the trip is collected by SSS through an approved booking platform (currently TravelJoy), and SSS remits payment to the underlying suppliers on your behalf. SSS earns its compensation from a combination of trip coordination services, supplier arrangements, and pricing structure. Pricing as advertised includes all elements of the trip package; no separate service fee will be added unless specifically disclosed at the time of booking.
3. Your deposit and payment commitment By submitting your deposit, you reserve your spot on this trip subject to availability and the trip-specific payment schedule. Your deposit and subsequent payments are non-refundable except as expressly provided in the trip cancellation policy below or as required by applicable supplier refund rules. You agree to make all remaining payments according to the schedule provided in your booking confirmation. Failure to pay by any scheduled deadline may result in loss of your spot, forfeiture of deposit, increased pricing, or cancellation of your booking.
4. Supplier terms apply This trip combines services from multiple independent suppliers. Each supplier's terms, conditions, refund rules, change penalties, and operational policies apply to that portion of your trip. By participating, you agree to comply with applicable supplier terms. SSS does not own, operate, or control any supplier and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, schedule changes, cancellations, or service failures.
5. Cancellations and refunds If you cancel your participation, recoverable amounts are limited to what SSS can recover from suppliers under applicable supplier terms, net of any non-refundable supplier payments, supplier penalties, and trip coordination costs already incurred. Cancellation deadlines and refund schedules are governed by the trip-specific cancellation policy provided to you with your booking confirmation. Some portions of your payment may be non-refundable from the moment of deposit. Travel insurance is strongly recommended (see Section 7).
6. Trip changes and minimum participation SSS reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to the trip itinerary, accommodations, or activities when necessary due to supplier availability, weather, safety, or operational requirements. If the trip does not meet minimum participation requirements, SSS may cancel the trip and refund participant payments net of any non-refundable supplier commitments already paid. SSS will provide notice as soon as reasonably practical if any material changes or cancellation become necessary.
7. Travel insurance SSS strongly recommends comprehensive travel insurance for every participant, including coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, evacuation, and where applicable, activity-specific coverage (such as scuba diving or ski coverage). For trips during hurricane season or with significant non-refundable deposits, Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage is strongly recommended. You acknowledge that declining insurance places full financial responsibility for losses on you.
8. Health, fitness, and activity acknowledgment You are responsible for determining whether you are physically and medically suited for this trip and any activities included. You agree to disclose any medical conditions, dietary needs, or accessibility requirements at the time of booking. For activity-based trips (skiing, diving, hiking, water sports, and similar), you acknowledge the inherent risks of those activities and confirm you are appropriately certified, trained, and fit to participate.
9. Travel documents and entry requirements You are solely responsible for obtaining and carrying valid travel documents, including passports (typically valid six months past return), visas, vaccinations, and any required identification. SSS is not responsible for losses caused by missing, expired, or noncompliant documents.
10. Communications You authorize SSS to communicate with you regarding this trip by email, phone, or text using the contact information you provide. Trip-specific updates, payment reminders, and travel documents may be sent through the SSS booking platform. For trips involving multiple travelers under a single booking (couples, families), the primary contact is authorized to make booking decisions on behalf of all travelers in the booking.
11. Force majeure and events beyond control SSS is not liable for delays, cancellations, or losses caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, pandemic, government action, supplier insolvency, transportation disruptions, war, terrorism, or other extraordinary events. In such cases, SSS will use reasonable efforts to assist with rebooking or supplier refund coordination, but refunds depend on supplier policies and any travel insurance purchased.
12. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSS's liability for its own coordination services on this trip is limited to the amount you paid directly to SSS for this trip. SSS is not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by independent third-party suppliers or events beyond SSS's reasonable control.
13. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
14. Acceptance By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Group Trip Participation Terms, the SSS Travel Terms, and the trip-specific details provided in your booking confirmation.
