We are Surf to Summit Travel Co. and are excited to help you with your travel. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Surf to Summit Travel Co. and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.
Please review the following terms carefully before confirming your booking. By making a reservation with Surf to Summit Travel Co., you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. Our Role
Surf to Summit Travel Co. acts as an intermediary between you and the travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, etc.). We do not own or operate any of these services and cannot guarantee their performance.
2. Custom Itinerary Services
For clients hiring us to create a custom travel itinerary, we provide:

Research and recommendations for transportation, accommodations, activities, and dining

A day-by-day itinerary designed to suit your preferences, budget, and travel style

Insider tips and resources to ensure your trip runs smoothly
Please note:

Custom itineraries are for personal use only and cannot be shared or sold

Clients may choose to book independently, but planning fees are non-refundable, reflecting the time and expertise invested

Payment Terms for Custom Itineraries:

Payment is due upfront and planning will not begin until payment is received

Payment can be made via e-transfer, credit card, or credit-debit
-
GST applies to all planning fees
3. Booking & Payment

A deposit may be required to secure your booking and is non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the supplier.

Final payment due dates vary by supplier and will be clearly communicated to you at the time of booking.

Failure to make final payment by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of deposits.
4. Changes & Cancellations

Any changes or cancellations are subject to the terms and fees set by the travel supplier(s), which will be disclosed to you at the time of booking.

In addition to supplier fees, Surf to Summit Travel Co. may charge a change or cancellation fee.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes or cancellations.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is highly recommended and may be required for certain trips. It is your responsibility to understand what is and isn’t covered. We can assist in obtaining a policy but are not liable for denied claims.
6. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport and any required visas, vaccinations, or other entry documents.

Surf to Summit Travel Co. is not responsible for denied entry due to incomplete or incorrect documentation.

All pricing is subject to change until paid in full. Availability is not guaranteed until the booking is confirmed by the supplier.
9. Liability
We are not responsible for injury, loss, damage, delay, or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, natural disaster, or supplier insolvency.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from your booking will be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.

By making a payment or confirming a reservation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
