Cancellation Policy   

 
All room deposits are non-refundable regardless if insurance protection is taken or not.
 
Travel protection will be offered at time of booking. It is up to the guests should they wish to have travel protection to possibly protect their payments beyond the deposit.
 
CANCELLATION POLICIES: ALL PAYMENTS ARE 100% NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER FINAL PAYMENT UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. Please consider Travel Protection to protect your vacation investment. In the unfortunate incident that a traveler needs to cancel their reservation, cancellation requests must be received in writing and sent to cancellation@designourtravel.com. Upon receipt, we will review and reply with a confirmation of your cancellation. A cancellation confirmation will be provided to the traveler for any potential travel insurance claims they may need to submit.

CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS: Any changes made to your existing room reservation are subject to the current rates, promotions, and terms at the time of the change. If the number of individuals occupying a room changes, the remaining travelers will be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of the change in the per-person occupancy rate. If a traveler makes changes to their reservation, an administrative processing fee of $50 will be assessed in addition to any travel supplier fees/penalties. This processing fee is to cover our time spent processing your reservation change. This fee is per change and will double to $100 for changes made within 30 days of travel.  Fee must be paid prior to change being completed by Design Our Travel® LLC.

*If payments are not received by the due date, your reservation is subject to cancellation. DOT is not responsible for cancellations due to payments made after the due date.
LATE FEES: payments due that are not received prior to the due dates above will incur a $50 late fee. Payments that are greater than 14 calendar dates late will be charged an additional, incremental $50 late fee. All reservations are subject to cancellation and hotel penalties as described above if final payment is not received on the due date. Late fees are not covered by the travel insurance and are always non-refundable. all late fees will need to be paid prior to a payment towards your reservation is  taken.
 
 
 
 
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT FLIGHTS
 
Please do not book your fights until you have received a confirmation from the wedding team at Design Our Travel® with your reservation number and paid receipt for your deposit.
We have to confirm your dates requested and manually submit your payment in order to finalize your reservation.
 
 
 
 
IMPORTANT DETAILS ABOUT COMPLETING YOUR RESERVATIONS
 
  1. Please enter your legal name(s) EXACTLY as it appears on your valid passport.
  2. Your passport number is NOT required to book your room or flight. As long as the legal name matches your airplane ticket and your passport is valid at the time of travel you are good to go.  You may leave the passport number and expiration date blank, but please do not forget to make sure it's not expired at the time of your trip and the passport has at least 6 months of life left on it at time you would return from your trip. in addition, please be sure you have a passport book, not a passport card.
  3. Please note every field marked with an asterisk (*) is required and you will not be able to submit the form without ALL mandatory (*) fields properly completed. Weddings by Design Our Travel is not liable if the information is not entered correctly.
  4. Submitting information via the reservation form does not automatically confirm your reservation, or charge your credit card. Your dedicated Wedding Team will process the reservation/payment & email you a confirmation invoice within 48hrs. Our Business Hours are Monday & Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 5 PM EST, Tuesday & Thursday from 10:00 AM - 7 PM EST, and Friday 10:00 AM - 4 PM EST. (Closed on Weekends and Major Holidays). Once your booking form is submitted you will see a Thank You pop-up box confirming your submission.
  5. It is your responsibility to review the invoice terms and conditions upon receipt to ensure 100% accuracy. Please check thoroughly for any discrepancies or errors. Weddings by Design Our Travel is NOT responsible for errors, or any fees associated with necessary changes after 24hrs of receipt.
  6. You must be 21+ to check in at this property. If you are of the age of 18-20, please email us at weddings@designourtravel.com.

FAQ's
 
  • Do you offer assistance booking airfare? Most wedding guests book air on their own - whether they are wanting to use flight credits, points, etc...booking on their own gives them the freedom to book how they want. However, we are happy to answer questions about the air options you have and the booking process.
  • Can we add on extra nights? Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to add on additional nights to your stay.  You can email us at weddings@designourtravel.com
  • Do you offer payment plans? Yes! Take advantage of our flexible payment plan where you don't have to pay all at once! It's interest-free. everyone will receive monthly reminders letting you know that if you'd like to make a payment towards your reservation, you can.
  • Do you take cash or check for payments? No, Design Our Travel® LLC does not accept cash, checks, or money orders at this time.  We do accept credit and debit cards; please keep in mind that some debit cards have a daily limit.
  • How will I receive my final travel documents? All wedding guests will RECEIVE a customized electronic itinerary via an app that they  will have access to on-the-go.
