Get SUPER excited because in July 2025 we'll be heading to the exotic and lush unspoiled isle of Ambergris Caye! Located on the eastern coast of Central America,  Ambergris Caye is the largest and most developed of Belize's many islands, measuring approximately 25 miles long and 1 mile wide. It is situated in the northernmost part of the country, just a short distance from the Mexican border.
 
Ambergris Caye's beaches are renowned for their soft, white sand and turquoise waters, making them a prime destination for sun-seekers and water enthusiasts alike. The beaches are generally calm and shallow, with the Belize Barrier Reef acting as a protective barrier against strong waves, creating ideal conditions for swimming, snorkeling, and paddleboarding.
 
BTW - If you were with us on Holbox Island in Mexico, Ambergris Caye offers a similar vibe. This will be an amazing and thrilling getaway, hopefully you'll be joining us in July!

What's included in this trip:
  • Transportation to and from Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE)
    • VERY IMPORTANT: When booking, please be sure to choose the TWO options you and your roommate would like to get to Ambergris Caye (either hopper flight or water taxi). If you do not select an option, you will be responsible for your own transportation to Ambergris Caye
  • Hotel accommodations at the 4 star Mahogany Bay Resort and Beach Club (not all-inclusive but breakfast is included)
  • Catamaran day trip to Secret Beach, Love Island and Sandbar Island

What's not included:
  • International flight to and from Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE)

Tentative Itinerary:
  • Day 1 (7/10): Arrivals (remember to select a transfer option!)
  • Day 2 (7/11): Early evening meet & greet cocktail reception
  • Day 3 (7/12): Catamaran day trip
  • Day 4 (7/13): Chill Day! Hit the spa, the beach/pool or explore San Pedro
  • Day 5: (7/14): Departures    
 
The Fine Print (Please read carefully):
  • PAYMENT PLAN: If selecting the payment plan, you MUST accept the auto-payment option when reserving your spot
CANCELLATION POLICY: Your travel package is nonrefundable/nontransferable. Travel insurance is not mandatory yet highly recommended. With travel insurance, should you need to cancel, you can file a claim against your travel insurance policy. Depending on the reason for your cancellation, you may be reimbursed between 80-100% of your payments toward your trip. The insurance cost is customized according to your vacation cost, age and state of residency. In the event that a natural disaster, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, or severe weather conditions, prevents Coconut and Concrete Travel from fulfilling its obligations under this agreement, including the provision of travel services or accommodations, Coconut and Concrete Travel shall promptly notify affected clients of the situation and the impact on their bookings. Coconut and Concrete Travel shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by such natural disaster. Clients affected by cancellations due to the natural disaster will need to submit a claim against their travel insurance if they have opted to purchase insurance. 
  • CHANGE POLICY: There is a $50 fee to make any name, room category or roommate change to your reservation, there may also be an increase in your overall travel package rate as well.
  • Final payment is due June 10, 2025; there is a late payment fee of $50 for payments made after final payment date up to June 15, 2025.  Trips not paid in full after this date will be canceled without refund.

The 630 sq. ft. one bedroom Lower Keeping Suites offers two queen beds, bathroom with double vanity and shower, a spacious screened outdoor living area, and a home office desk area. Also equipped with an under-counter refrigerator. It's the perfect retreat for two friends traveling together or a family of three or four for short-term stays. All Lower Keeping Suites include free WiFi, air-conditioning, flat screen TV, closets, safe, and luxury bedding.

Roundtrip Hopper Flight and Transfer to Mahogany Bay Resort

The most popular option is to take a 15–20 minute connecting flight from the BZE International Airport in Belize City to San Pedro (SPR) on Maya Island Air or Tropic Air.
 
Once you've landed, a taxi will be waiting to take you to Mahogany Bay Resort (about a 15 minute ride). 

Roundtrip Transfer to Water Taxi and Transfer to Mahogany Bay Resort

You can take a water taxi from Belize City's North Front Street water taxi terminal to Ambergris Caye. The taxi ride from BZE International Airport to the water taxi terminal is about 45 minutes.
 
The San Pedro Belize Express water taxi departs regularly throughout the day. The trip takes about 90 minutes.
