There just isn’t enough vacation time to do everything, so we go for the widest variety, make the most of the moments... and above all, try to have the most fun whenever possible. This ship packs all the best, most delicious fun from her sister ships Carnival Vista® and Carnival Horizon®, but still manages to stand out. One example: it’s easy to stand out when you’re literally flying, and Carnival Panorama has the only Sky Zone™ trampoline park you’ll find at sea. This spot gives a whole new meaning to leaving the land behind, so lose the shoes and gain some air with gravity-defying dodgeball sessions or slam-dunk basketball experiences. That’s not the only way to catch some air, either, because this ship also features SkyRide®, a pedal-powered suspended bike experience that’ll have you enjoying wide, breezy views of the ocean. Plus there’s a ropes course, mini-golf and WaterWorks™ waterpark, of course!

It’s not all action, though, because relaxation options like Cloud 9 Spa™ and Serenity Adult-Only Retreat™ are on the menu. Great dining is too, with choices that range from the refined fare of Bonsai Teppanyaki™ and Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse to come-as-hungry-as-you-are classics like BlueIguana Cantina™, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse | Brewhouse and Seafood Shack™. (And at Guy’s, the brews are as fresh as the food, all of which are made on board.) Havana Bar & Pool are there to give you a bit of that “90 miles south” flavor and flair, with matching stateroom options that keep you close to the action all cruise long.

There’s traditional Carnival fun too, and these fan-favorites are great news for everybody! Three age-perfect youth programs keep kids busy having a blast with their peers, while Playlist Productions™ take songs you know and make high-energy crowd-pleasing shows out of them. Dive-In Movies makes a big production out of the big screen over the pool, plus The Punchliner Comedy Club™ features family-friendly shows… and, uh, late-night shows for after the kids go to bed.

Day 1: Long Beach (Los Angeles), CA

When we talk about cruising from Los Angeles, fyi: we’re talking about cruises from Long Beach. A short drive from LA is where you’ll find this seaside Southern California city that’s inseparable from its big-city neighbor, while undeniably moving to its own local beat. Dotted with dozens of parks, beaches and multiple public golf courses (fore times five!), Long Beach also boasts perhaps the world’s most unique hotel — located aboard the old-time ocean liner The Queen Mary (which is haunted, or so go the rumors). You can experience it before one of Carnival’s cruises from Long Beach, but definitely don’t miss the glitzy, big-city Los Angeles — the right place to experience the left-coast life. Take in the storied sights of this City of Angels, from its modern museums and high-end shopping to its funky seaside towns and star-studded SoCal sights dotting the hills and boulevards. Day 4: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Whether you’re seeking quality beach time or action-packed adventures, cruises to Puerto Vallarta will deliver the vacation you’ve been craving. Reigning over Banderas Bay and bordered by the tropical forests of the Sierra Madre Mountains, Puerto Vallarta, is both a modern beach resort and an eco-adventure launching pad. Day 5: Mazatlan, Mexico

Go from the opera house to the lighthouse with Carnival cruises to Mazatlán, Mexico. This city’s 17-mile-long beach has rolling swells for surfers and calm waters for swimmers. Thatch-roofed shacks serve the freshest seafood and beach bars pour crisp cervezas with lime. Applicable state and local taxes will be charged to the guest folio when this program is used within US waters. The tax is based on the state's tax structure and the cost of the individual drink purchased (not the daily program rate). For example: if the drink price is $5 and the tax is 10%, the guest's Sail & Sign card will be charged $0.50 for tax. This applies to all US ports (embarkation home ports and ports-of-call). Gratuities can be added at the time of booking or anytime up to the sail date. Guests who booked directly with Carnival may add their pre-paid gratuities on Carnival.com. If a guest booked with a travel agent, they may contact their travel professional to add pre-paid gratuities to their booking. Prepaid gratuities are reflected in the 'Miscellaneous Charge' field on the confirmation and in the guest's E-Documents.
