  • Traveling internationally requires a passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. Please ensure your passport does not expire before April 30, 2027.

  • All prices are based on current rates for 2025. If there are significant changes that impact overall travel costs, your final invoice may reflect a price adjustment. You will be notified in advance of any changes and will have 72 hours to cancel your reservation without penalty if you choose not to proceed.

  • Please plan to arrive in Zanzibar on October 23, 2026. Hotel check-in begins at 3:00 PM on that day, and check-out will be on October 31, 2026, by 11:00 PM. You will fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and depart from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ).

  • Travel insurance is essential for peace of mind, ensuring you're financially protected when plans change, or issues arise abroad. Protect your investment with Faye Travel Insurance, offering comprehensive coverage for unexpected events like trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and lost luggage. 

  • A detailed itinerary will be sent via email 90 days before departure, giving you ample time to plan your free time as we prepare for this unforgettable experience.

 

TERMS AND POLICIES

  • All prices are based on the exchange rate at the time of your quote. If the U.S. dollar loses value before your final payment, prices may need to be adjusted to reflect the new exchange rate. If this happens, Sassie Travel Destinations will notify you in advance. You will have 72 hours to cancel your reservation without penalty if you choose not to proceed with the updated pricing.

  • A credit card is required at hotel check-in to cover incidental charges.

  • At the time of booking, you may choose to pay in full or take advantage of our convenient payment plan.

  • Once full payment is received by the Final Payment Due Date, your travel documents, itinerary, and instructions will be emailed to you at least 30 days prior to departure (or earlier).

  • Any name or occupancy changes should be reported to me immediately and may incur a $50 Name Change Fee, in addition to any vendor-imposed fees.

  • If payment is not received by the final payment date on your invoice, a late payment fee of $100 per person will apply..

 

CANCELLATION POLICY 

We understand that plans can change. Please review our cancellation terms carefully:

 

  • Deposit: A non-refundable $200 per person deposit secures your spot.
  • Cancellation More Than 90 Days Before Departure: Full refund of any payments made minus the non-refundable deposit.
  • Cancellation 60–89 Days Before Departure: 50% of total trip cost refunded.
  • Cancellation 30–59 Days Before Departure: 25% of total trip cost refunded.
  • Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Departure: No refund.

 

Travel Insurance Recommendation: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes, including medical emergencies, travel delays, or other unforeseen circumstances.
