Day 1 

SEPTEMBER 24 - OVERNIGHT FLIGHT TO ROME INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (pricing available at time of booking)

 
 
Day 2

SEPTEMBER 25  – TRANSFER FROM ROME AIRPORT TO NAPLES
Upon your arrival in Rome International Airport, meet your assistant and enjoy a Private Transfer to your
Hotel in Naples. Naples city tour or Pizza making class will be included.

       

In the evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at your hotel (or by a nearby restaurant).

Day 3
SEPTEMBER 26  – AMALFI, POSITANO AND RAVELLO
Visit the 3 most celebrated jewels of the Amalfi Coast on 3 Minivans, driven by local experienced drivers.
Driver/guides will visit Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
DURATION 8 hours

Day 4  
SEPTEMBER 27  – CAPRI FULL-DAY WITH LOCAL GUIDE
Morning transfer from your Hotel to the port to catch the hydrofoil to the Island of Capri.
Once in Capri, meet a Private Local Guide and enjoy a tour of the islands two villages (named Capri and
Anacapri) by using the local transportation (included).
The tour will include the chair lift to Mt. Solaro and the walk to the Augustus Gardens.
Afternoon hydrofoil back to Naples, where your vans will wait for your and take you back to your Hotel.
DURATION 7-8 hours

Day 5
SEPTEMBER 28  – BUFFALO MOZZARELLA FARM AND GREEK TEMPLE                

Drive to the Paestum area, approximately 1 hour south along the Amalfi Coast, to visit a real Buffalo
Mozzarella Farm - one of the most appreciated productions in this region.
Learn how the mozzarella is made from the milk of the buffalos and enjoy a farmhouse lunch.
To follow, enjoy a visit to the best preserved Greek Temples in Italy, that are only 10-15 minutes
away. Meet a Local Guide and enjoy a tour of the Archeological Site of Paestum.

Day 6
SEPTEMBER 29  – POMPEII RUINS AND WINE TASTING ON THE VESUVIUS. TRANSFER TO MATERA.
Bus drive to Pompeii, where you will experience and a Guided Tour of the worldwide famous buried ancient town.
The visit lasts a couple of hours - it will be late morning, time for a lunch break!  Short driver uphill, to the Vesuvius volcano slopes,
where surrounded by a unique setting there are a few wineries that enjoy the special volcanic soil to produce the typical white
and red wines of this region.  Enjoy a delicious farmhouse light lunch paired with 5 glasses of wine.
Afternoon departure and arrival in Matera in the late afternoon

Day 7
SEPTEMBER 30  – MATERA GUIDED TOUR AND  FOOD EXPERIENCES
Matera is a unique city, an extraordinary timeless place home of the famous Sassi, the first site in southern
Italy declared a World Heritage Site. The historical center of Matera is an open-air museum, boasting
breathtaking views and incredible architectures.
In the morning, you will experience a walking tour with a Local Guide to explore the cave dwellings (or
“Sassi”) and the best town attractions.    In the afternoon, we will arrange an optional (included) Cooking Class or similar Experience in Matera area.

Day 8
OCTOBER 01  – TRANSFER TO LECCE. LUNCH AND WINE TASTING IN THE ITRIA VALLEY ON THE WAY
Leave Matera in the morning and head towards Lecce.
Lecce is the most important city in southern Apuglia (a sub-region called 'Salento') and renowned for its top level production of extra-virgin olive oil and for boasting some of most beautiful beaches in Italy.  Lecce is also called "the Florence of the South" for its breathtaking old center - you will see it!
En route, pay a visit to the wine district of Itria Valley. This area is well known for the production of white
and the Primitivo red, and for some beautiful villages like Locorotondo and Martina Franca.
Visit a local winery where a light lunch will be paired to a selection of local wines.

 Day 9
OCTOBER 02  – LECCE GUIDED WALKING TOUR AND AFTERNOON COOKING CLASS  OR SIMILAR ACTIVITY
Meet your Private Guide at the Hotel (or at a central meeting point, depending upon the hotel location) and
enjoy a half-day Walking Tour of the so-called "Florence of the South".   Admire the magnificent baroque
architecture, striking churches and buildings that are carved from beautiful honey-colored local stone and
discover the ruins of the Roman amphitheater, which can still be seen in the central square, Piazza Sant’Oronzo.
To follow, reach a Local Farmhouse or a "Burrata" (a kind of soft cheese) factory and have fun on a Private Cooking Class!

Day 10
OCTOBER 03  – FULL-DAY TOUR TO DISCOVER THE SALENTO REGION AND ITS OLIVE OIL
Morning departure with your Bus to reach in 45 minutes the picturesque Otranto, Italy’s easternmost town:
the Albanian coast is just 850 miles away and if weather is clear you'll be able to see it! Discover the
highlights of this charming city with the help of a Local Private Guide, including the 11 th Century
Romanesque cathedral which is home to beautiful medieval mosaics and the massive Aragonese Castle,
nowadays hosting international exhibitions and events.
Lunch at leisure and early afternoon departure to a nearby Farmhouse to taste the local production of Extra-
virgin Olive Oil and enjoy the typical landscape made of magnificent centuries-old olive trees.

Day 11
OCTOBER 04  – TRANSFER TO POLIGNANO / BARI AREA WITH STOP IN OSTUNI AND ALBEROBELLO
On the way to Polignano a Mare / Bari, you will enjoy a couple of stops to visit two unique towns in central
Apulia: Ostuni and Alberobello.  Also called "the white town”, Ostuni is one of the most stunning cities in southern Italy famous for the
dazzling effect of its whitewashed houses. It is a genuine and charming example of Mediterranean architecture. The city of Ostuni is a
series of levels, staircases, small roads, alleys, arches.
Following we reach Alberobello, the so-called Capital of the Trulli. The “trullo” is a fascinating architectural feature of this area of Puglia,
a building with conical roof made without mortar. Alberobello has special status internationally - designated a UNESCO world heritage
site - because its collection of some 1,500 trulli in an urban environment is unique.

Day 12
OCTOBER 05  – VISIT CASTEL DEL MONTE AND TRANI WITH ITS SEA-FRONT CATHEDRAL
With a short ride, reach the iconic castle of Castel del Monte with your bus. Castel del Monte is significantly
different from all the remaining castles of Apulia (and Italy), because to its unusual octagonal shape.
You will meet a Private Guide on site, that will escort you also to the following stop of this day.
In the afternoon, in fact, stop in Trani, a lovely seaside town home of an iconic Cathedral, mirrored in the
water of the Adriatic Sea, one of the most beautiful examples of Puglia's Romanesque architecture.
Enjoy a walk by the picturesque port of Trani and its narrow white-stoned alleys.

Day 13
OCTOBER 06  – "BARI VECCHIA" HALF DAY TOUR
Quick Bus ride to Bari city center and meeting with a Local Private Guide.  Enjoy a 3-hours walking tour in
"Bari Vecchia" (Old Bari). Discover striking churches including the Cathedral of San Sabino which is overlooked
by the imposing Svevo Castle.  One of the most attractive treasures of this city is the St. Nicola Basilica (Nicolas is the Bari saint protector),
 a wonderful example of the Apulian Medieval architecture, where the holy relics of the famous saint are kept.

Day 14
OCTOBER 07  – TRANSFER TO VENICE
Check out on time to reach the Bari International Airport and catch your flight to Venice
Upon reaching Venice we'll take a water taxi to our hotel just a couple of minutes walk from St,  Mark's Square - 
the perfect location to explore Venice. Check into our hotel and begin exploring the famous canals. Perhaps enjoy 
a scenic, evening gondola drive.

Day 15
OCTOBER 8 - A DAY TO EXPLORE VENICE
The day is yours to explore this endangered UNESCO city.  Visit the Rialto Bridge, shop along the winding cobblestone streets,
take a guided tour of St. Mark's Cathedral and the Doge's Palace, or visit one of Venice's outer islands such as Murano (famous
for its unique colored blown glass) or Burano (famous for its exquisite  linens)

OCTOBER 9  -  IT'S YOUR CHOICE !

The amazing land trip through Italy will be a limited, small group, immersive experience limited to only 20 passengers.   To secure a spot on the land trip, a deposit of $3,000 per person is required, of which $500 per person is nonrefundable.
