What's not included:  

International airfare - We will provide you with recommendations for flights and research pricing for best rates including with our consolidator contracts that are often best pricing not otherwise available.  Should you want to book the flights through us, there is a $75 charge per ticket 
E-visas for Vietnam and Cambodia - both countries require separate visas to enter the countries - the cost is $30-$40 each - We will provide instructions about obtaining the e-visa's as part of the trip preparation details.
Meals during the pre-cruise experience other than breakfast

Deposit and Final Payment: The deposit is $700 (single) or $550 (double) per person
$400 is due at the time of booking with the balance of the deposit due within 30 days
 
The deposit includes the  $300 Opal&Finch non-refundable professional fee and the $400 deposit to AmaWaterways   
Final payment is due no later than 90 days before the travel start date

Cancellation Charges: In the unfortunate event a participant must cancel travel, written notice must be made to Opal&Finch. Other forms of notice are not sufficient. Cancellations received within 24 hours of the vacation start date will be deemed as trip interruption, cannot be canceled, and are 100% non-refundable. The effective date of the cancellation is the date Opal&Finch receives the cancellation notice.  A change in sailing date, name changes, the substitution of a participant, or a reduction in the number of guests in a stateroom are treated as a cancellation in that all applicable cancellation charges apply. A reduction in occupancy is subject to a single supplement charge. Cancellation charges are per person, based on the cancellation date, as seen in the chart below.

 Opal&Finch is a full-service travel agency and we are happy to assist with your flights.  We charge a $50 per ticket fee for this service to cover the cost of issuing tickets through our consolidators.

Travel Insurance
Available until November 1, 2024

$375.00

Travel Insurance is highly encouraged for all international travel.  $375 is an estimate and not the final cost.  We will send a travel insurance quote upon receipt of your deposit.  Travel insurance rates are based on age at the time of travel and the price of the trip.  We use third-party insurance as this is the most flexible for coverage and claims.  

Travel insurance is most often between 5-6% of the total trip cost and slightly higher after you reach 60 years of age when the rates average closer to 8%.  

To include pre-existing medical conditions travel insurance policy must be purchased within 21 days of deposit. 

 

MedjetAssist and Medjet Horizon - Additional Medical Coverage

We now offer MedjetAssist and MedjetHorizon to our clients this is different than regular travel insurance and is specific to medical transport costs, or for medjetHorizon extraction costs. 

MedjetAsssit: If you become hospitalized internationally or domestically - 150 miles or more from home - Medjet will arrange medical transportation to a home-country hospital of your choice for inpatient care. All you pay is your membership fee. With medical transport costs ranging from $30,000 to over $180,000, why risk it?
